This is a very solid title, well done.

On that note, the lava droplets looks like decorative background elements, so it really caught me off guard when that's what killed my run. I think forcing the player to sacrifice their move-set is a really creative idea, but I feel like it could've been executed a bit better. Perhaps if it was more obvious that you can jump over the tree golems, or if their hitbox was smaller then it would be more forgiving, but in its current state losing the sword before any other moves is a huge mistake, and there's no indication of that before you lose it.
The background music, like the artwork, was fantastic and it really helped set the mood. Plus, having greyscale colors and a single chromatic color, in this case orange, was a REALLY great decision. The art style stands out so much over other games. Great work.
- make the platforms a bit 'slippery' on the sides, so that when you are falling and try to move into a platform you slide off the side of it rather to just getting caught on it
- make the kings hitbox just a tiny bit smaller, I thought it was too big when I was trying to dash around enemies
- some sound effects would go a long way, for example one for when you land or when you attack
- add knockback to the enemies when you hit them
- make the game pause and then play the death animation when you die to avoid weird clipping problems with it
- make the player be able to unpause the game with escape
I know that is a lot of things but don't get me wrong, the game you were able to make in this time frame is quite impressive, props for you for that!
