Nice little game for highscore-running. Wish there were more in that (outing in crimsonlands, lol), but cool nonetheless.

Very much on-Theme and very funny stuff! Gameplay loop is a bit shallow, but I was nonetheless entertained. So no points subtracted.

Your artwork is fun, I would love to see a full game with your style of models.

Keep up the awesome work!

Cute little game. But invisible walls get in the way.

not much to say that hasn't been said - would be much better with sound. to add to that, a visual effect when you shoot and when enemies are hit would add some nice visual feedback. you've got a good starter template here, though, so i would encourage you to keep going.

Cool little game! You should see my face, when I realize the ants are not going for the food, but trying to get me XD Good job with this one!

Nice little game, i found myself enjoying it a lot! I love those models for the ants, and I can see the effort put into making the small details such as the walking animations for the ants and player, as well as the shooting animation. One suggestion would be to make the landscape a bit more varied, and give the ants maybe some sort of blood particle effect, or a small animation for when they die :) Thanks for the entry!

Ahh, British summertime...

I know all the humour here was in the description, not *strictly* in the game, but it struck a chord nonetheless!

Could have done with some sound--even just some nice, calming, royalty-free classical music for your lovely picnic... and some shotgun blast effects from freesounds.

Gameplay was fun, but could have done with just a *little* bit extra polish. Maybe some blood effects on a hit (or whatever it is that ants bleed) and a replacement reticle for the mouse cursor.

I had fun though--thanks for the laugh!

@skruffye I spent ages trying to find "English Country Gardens" royalty free for a background music track but there's none out there! i think it'd be perfect.

thanks for the feedback everyone i'm working on a post jam version

Despite not having sound and with a buggy movement (the WASD controls failed from time to time), I reall y had fun playing this one. Good job!

Big ants!

Thought I was defending the picnic for a while until I realized I could just run around.

Satisfying in its simplicity.
