Banner.png As your make your trip back from Mars back to your home planet Earth, you are intercepted by pirates. They know you are carrying precious metals from Mars, and they want all of it for themselves. In order to guarantee an eventual victory, they warp space around you creating a prison in space. There is no escape, at this point the best you can do is cause the most damage to their fleet to prevent them from doing it again to future travellers. Good luck.

Super sleek little score game. Once I realized you could crash enemies into each other it got really good 👍 plus the extra controls for dashing and flipping around add some great nuance to the gameplay

Extremely fun game! Just HAD to go for that high score. I found that letting the ships crash into each other was more valuable than shooting them, so eventually I was frantically dodging an armada of ships.

A very polished game! My only suggestion would be not to use the pixel-perfect camera on UI elements and using a better font. Great game otherwise :)

Simple and effective graphics, nice music and good mechanics

I survived until the ship that shoots arrived. Instant kill!

Be careful with uploading commits of your leaderboard config :spy:

Really fun game, I love the enemies crashing into each other mechanic. I might use it in a future game ;).

Almost beat you :D!
For some reason I couldn't upload my local score again.

Ive seen your feedback over at @iguanana 's game and was so impressed by it that I had to check your game out :P

I think the best summary I can give you is a quote. "Now THIS is podracing"
No really one of the best games so far, I could see me investing many hours into this game.

The game was really fun but really difficult in the beginning. It took me a solid 5 minutes before I got my first points.

Overall a pretty good little game, and I really love the music. The controls could perhaps have been a bit better, especially rotating so you can hit the enemies is a bit difficult.

That was fun, although I was bad, but I will keep trying :D (I was just trying for 5 minutes because I wanna rate some more games before the deadline :3)

Challenging mechanic, but feels rewarding when you hit something :)

I just wish it was a liiiiiittle easier, maybe you should be able to rotate the ship a BIT with the mouse? (like superslow so that it wouldnt make sense to rotate with the mouse only, but oftentimes I missed the ships by a little bit only, and together with having to consider how W and S works it was a little too challenging for me :)

it was still a fun game!

graphicwise simple and solid with a cute ship :) I wish the font wasn't so blurry, I get that you probably wanted to compliment the pixel art, but I thing a pixel style font with clear edges would have done a better job

(for example anything from here https://www.dafont.com/de/bitmap.php)

Just download it, put the .otf or .tff into your project folder, chose the font and DONEEEEE
(edit: okay, I'm using Unity, but this has to work for Godot as well? I might be a bit nit-picky but I'm so sick of tired of Arial and the like in every gamejam considering how little time it takes to use a decent font ^^)

A very awesome entry for a single person, congrats! :)

Awesome game! I have no idea how people get this high score (read, I'm bad at this) :P Nice music. Good job!
