It would be great to have a html5 version next time. Your game deserve for wider audience, and it's not quite secure to download executables. Thanks for IMPRESSIVE art on cover I took that risk and it worth it if I will loose my personal data and some bank accounеs ;) Art again - it's perfect. Together with sound and effects bring perfect experience of destruction flew out of your hands. I'm not about narrative but probably it's cool here as well.

WOW, that was a beautiful experience! The art is gorgeous and the choice of rain/water dripping in the background is big vibe. I think as a game, it's missing some elements to make it fun. However, I think you were going for more of an interactive visual experience, for which you nailed the execution!

I like it. The game sets out to accomplish something and accomplishes it; straightforward in concept and execution, it made for a good experience. I think the game's atmosphere was held back a little by the sound effects in the game; sound is important to this game, and there were only a handful of sounds that would play when the different parts of the machine broke off or were set back into place, making the process of watching the machine break down and struggling to keep it intact feel less organic and more orchestrated (that is, it feels more like you're playing a game rather than experiencing an alternative moment in time). Slightly shifting the pitch of sound effects when they're played would have been one potential solution to this in lieu of adding more sounds or completely revamping how the game presents them. Nonetheless, as mentioned before, the game does its job well, and it made for a pleasant and atmospheric experience.

I like the art style of this game. Well done!

Wow, this is gorgeously atmospheric! Super immersive and charming; amazing work!

I really love what the game did story-wise. The universe it slightly depicts and the idea of an old alien machine were already interesting, however I didn't immediately recognized the Voyager Recordings. When I finally understood, it was such a strong revelation, and made the ending so impactful.

Visually it is also very neat. Although the falling animation seems to have an ease-out, which feels a bit weird. Mechanically, the pieces feels just a little bit too slow to move, but this makes sense for the pace of the game. It was a fantastic experience in the end!

The concept fits the theme perfectly, is well executed and looks really good. The pieces feel really heavy and that's good, although maybe a little too much. I like that you don't show where exactly to put back the pieces, so that one has to pay attention and it becomes harder the more frequently they fall down. If you plan to expand on this, on might want to let the player buy some temporary effect that shows where the pieces should go back to. I love that you give the player one more reason to delay as much as possible with the audio files that one gets to listen to. Nice job!

Amazing graphics, sound fit well too, nice little game

That was really moody and original :D Only thing is it would be nice to give some feedback to the player when it is possible to let go a part.

Took me a couple tries to get the game to be playable, pressing space to "skip" the dialogue apparently makes you unable to pull objects.

For a game about audio, a little more filtering on the voice clips would've been nice (like static/noise, volume-mixing). Main menu seems a bit tacked on as well, i think it would've worked better if it just dropped you in straight. Otherwise i thought the graphics of the game itself were very nice, and fit well with the ambience. Good job on your first jam!

Huge mood on this one! The art was beautiful and the rain sounds set the tone nicely. The gameplay is simple but it draws you in with the promise of hearing more things. Although I must admit, it took a few too many collapsed pieces before I understood what was going on. Perhaps it would be nicer to the player the game told them when they could let go of a piece and it would snap back. (Or maybe even snap back automatically even if the player is still holding the button.) I think that might have been what the beep was for, but it wasn't too clear to me.

Anyway, really great entry, you all did wonderful. Excellent job!

The aesthetic is incredible. You've absolutely nailed it with the weather too that really adds to it. I wish there was more feedback, even if it was really subtle, around getting parts into the right place (maybe a small audio cue or outline?). Nice work!

Sure, it's not the best location wise. But the rent is cheap.

The visuals and the breaking sound are good. The text to speech voice for one of the messages was a bit awkward, but some of the others had nicer voices. There were a lot of pieces where after they fall I was not sure where exactly to put them, but I found that if I dragged them straight up super far they will lock back into place. Given that loss is meant to be inevitable, it felt a bit like watching a cinematic rather than playing a game. I assume that it is not possible to survive any longer than the point where it says something like "its falling faster than I can keep up."

Also, the itch io fullscreen button blocks the unity fullscreen button and it doesn't actually make the game fullscreen for me. You probably want to edit the itch io settings to remove the itch io fullscreen button and make the frame a little bit taller.

Wow, what a gem. I loved the concept of using those specific recordings for the audio and the inevitable destruction of the machine. The mood was amazing, one of the best I spotted when playing LD50 games. Great entry.
