BANKRUPTCY by Mooptychunk
Buy and sell properties for your inherited failing real estate business. You can't stop it from going under, but perhaps you can delay the inevitable long enough to make yourself some real money!
TIPS AND TRICKS:
-Listing prices will fluctuate depending on Trends. Buy uptrending properties early to maximize profit, and avoid buying downtrending properties unless you can immediately sell them.
-Properties in your inventory when the markets close will be sold for 80 percent of their Value automatically. This can be useful or detrimental!
-There are 4 Ranks: C, B, A, and S, each with their own ending card! Go for the S!
CHANGELOG:
- Added web playable version! (Requires Opera)

The bidder's word bubble does not show the building icon, so it wasn't easy to distinguish from each other.
Was that intentional?
it took me a couple rounds to understand how this game works, how to buy and sell, everything just went so fast to capture, but feels very realistic of trading. Then I was able to make some profits, but still not able to pay all debt.
I like the vibe it shows, the trading experience and the character's facial expression works pretty well to the concept.
Good Job!
On the critical side:
- I do wish that my buildings could've been always on screen, so I didn't need to bring down a drop down that covers up the deals.
- The prices going up and down didn't feel impactful enough. It was a fun thing to manage, but it made barely any profit compared to the base profit of selling an unusually cheap property to an unusually wealthy client.
- The racy end screens felt a bit out of place.
Overall, the most fun I've had yet while reviewing LD50 games, nicely done.
However, I did have quite a bit of fun playing the game, I did think the music was a bit TOO loud, so I had to turn that down. Otherwise, the pace was fast enough to make it feel as though you really are just trying to delay the inevitable. Good entry!
