It is the best game of this ludum dare that I played so far. First I thought I was the mum that have to rescue this baby, but when I understood I was the baby and that made me laugh a lot. I had lots of fun playing this. The music is nice too, and i like the animation of the chandelier and the arms of the mum that move 360. Very fun well done !

this game just kept surprising me. I thought I had a nice cycle figured out with the trash can, then it just... fell over. After that, I was hooked on finding all of the rest of the little details. Great game!

Like @badcop said, I got hooked on trying to find an optimal and sustainable route in what is at surface level a very simple game mechanic. The crib -> couch -> single swing on chandelier (so it doesn't drop) -> couch -> crib loop was kind of my goto...but very difficult to execute repeatedly. The placement of the items and how they interact with the player is super well done...it feels as though it was tested and tweaked a lot. Well done!

For the record, the fridge and crib are the only items that don't do anything.

Pro tip: spill water on the floor if your baby ever tries to pull this.

I thought I could be smart and hide on the lamp, then she tore it down and I lost. I like it.

Enjoyed it, the most I survived was around 16 seconds I think. But it was very difficult. The sideways movement felt very fast, I couldn't do fine-grained controls.

This was suprisingly fun and addictive! Quite hard, then I thought I could "cheat" the game by jumping back and forth between the sofa and table/fridge. And then the table broke, and then the sofa broke, hahah.

Awesome. Reminds me of some wacky Japanese arcade game. I love how thoughtfully the furniture is laid out, and I love how it deteriorates as the game goes, keeping you on your toes. Swinging on the chandelier is hilarious. It would be nice if the graphics were of slightly better quality, and it would help if the collapsing furniture was animated and accompanied with sound. Great job overall, though.

@quinn-patrick Everything that breaks or changes does have a sound effect. Maybe they got drowned out by the music? I hear them fine on my end, but I'm using headphones.

Oh yeah, my bad. I played it again and this time I did hear it. A little more punch'd never hurt, though.

Wow! Hilarious game! Seriously, something so simple can be so much fun and this is it! I love that it goes straight to the point and that the mechanics are simple, escape from the mother. The theme is fun and with a little more animation and softer music it would be even better than it is. How come you don't already have 20 votes? I think it's a great game!

As a new parent this strikes home. Some inspiration in here for me to up my game with some new movies at bed time

Neat application of the theme but, wow this is hard! =) My best was like 4 seconds. But I liked how you could interact with the furniture. Just wish the physics were a little more forgiving =)

I really had fun, great idea and well executed! I really appreciated the little touches like the lamp falling over and being able to swing on the chandelier! The controls felt good as well and the difficulty felt right too!

Here are some suggestion, but honestly, the game is super well executed as it is, so these would simply be additions! Some indicators as to when things would break would have been nice, and some variation in music might have been nice because the game lasted for a short while (maybe due to my sub-par skills at the game!) so maybe the music could have continued instead of starting again. But those are tiny nitpicks!

I also liked how the arms pointed at the player, very nice polish. Overall I had a lot of fun playing and this is a really great entry!

Excellent little game. The music was a lot of fun and fit with the mood perfectly. Also enjoyed the increasing difficulty with the disintegrating furniture and, though it has been said above, I got a real kick out of the chandelier. The little details really made this game: the mother's disheveled look, her outstretched arms, the little sound effects. Very well done

lol, this one made me laugh! Simple game, but it works well. Controls feel good. Art, music, and effects all fit the aesthetic (can I call it that?). Great work!

Edit: also, the poor harried look on that mom - _she_ deserves a nap!

Funny game. Was NOT expecting to swing from the chandeliers like that.
