Lost In Space by PSV Games Studio
In this game made in 72 hours especially for Ludum Dare 50, you'll control a robot that got lost in space during one of its missions. With battery and fuel almost exhausted, the poor thing is already condemned to die alone in an unknown place in the universe. Help him live as long as you can.
On the planet there are many batteries but they are destabilized and releasing particles, when collecting a battery a part of the robot's energy will be drained to stabilize the battery, get them to the lander as soon as possible to fully stabilize and get their electrical charge. When charging a battery, it is possible to pass through the trail of particles to obtain energy, so calculate your movements well.
How to play:
Controls: WASD to move, spacebar to jump and shift to run, move the camera with the mouse.
When running more battery will be drained.

The graphics are nice and clearly polished down to the motion blur and skybox. Great work :)
The gameplay is a bit repetitive after a while but it's still a nice experience
@sourcehorse Thank you! It's easy to get lost on the planet, the secret so it doesn't happen is to use the sun as a reference, the landing module is exactly below the sun
@whysguy52 @ss9 The planet is a sphere! And to be honest, it slowed me down a bit during the development of the game, as I had to make gravity work on planets.

I spent wonderful moments during space and batteries^^
Cool game!
Just out of curiosity, is it possible to collect all batteries? I managed 12 only haha
Good job!
for my feedback it was kinda hard to tell if the robot was carrying a battery since i was mostly seeing their back the whole time.

also i did have an issue when first booting up the game. i have 2 monitors, one landscape the other portrait. i had a problem when opening the game where it would convert the main landscape monitor to portrait and would display the game sideways. i was able to fix it by temporarily disabling my portrait monitor. not a big deal, but thought i'd let ya know 🐛
