As a software engineer, I feel like I've been training my entire professional career to type "ls" as many times and as quickly as possible. Thank you for giving my life purpose and fulfillment.

I'm bad at this game, but it is a lot of fun! I love that I can share my scores!

@atomicptr how...... I only got 658!

This game is great fun! Loved it. I tried to overtake your gasgasgas score but I couldn't :joy:

I can't figure out how to play the 1s level. I tried both my numpad 1 and normal keyboard 1 and '1s'. (Maybe I'm dumb hahah)

Always fun to have a leaderboard for a jam game, nice job! Once I realized I didn't need to hit enter after typing the words my score got a lot better :laughing:

You're looking at the new "+1000 Food" champ here. :trophy: The login/high score feature is above and beyond for a compo jam, I just want to say I'm majorly impressed with that. It could have the same sort of viral appeal as games like Wordle if it had a little more polish. Some simple CSS styling would go a long way. But there are some simple things like the timer bar and rising musical tones that create a sense of intensity and fun. Great game!

Having a leaderboard for a jam is so rare! I am amazed.
Them game is fun, I'm not super good at typing but I enjoyed the game anyway.

The leaderboard adds a nice challenge. It certainly kept me smashing my keyboard longer than I expected.

I don't think I've ever seen this type of game on LD before! Pretty cool, but there isn't much content or feedback. I enjoy being able to track high scores between all players, but the actual gameplay is a bit of a let-down. I expected it to be more like those WPM typing tests, only competitive, and I think it would've been better off that way. It's not very fun to type the same few characters over and over. Maybe you chose to do it this way because it's very hard to correct typing mistakes when you don't know what you've written, but there's a clear and better solution to that. Gotta mimic those WPM tests. Longer texts, WPM result, your typing being visible, and it'd get much better ratings from me. The competitive nature of this game is the best part.

This is a great warmup for a full day of programming.
