For a long time, peace reigned in your castle, alongside you of course. Then the neighbouring kingdoms of Red and Purple started a war with each other, and your reign was caught in the middle of it.

Your objective is to manage the finances, army, population and religion of the kingdom and the relationships with the neighbouring kingdoms. You can do so by choosing one of the two options that every event gives you.

I liked the idea and trying to balance the many different things with my limited options was a neat experience. I felt like there was a lot going on in the game that I didn't really understand or know how to meaningly affect. I figured out later on that how I treated my priests and army also affected the way that the Red and Yellow kingdom's reacted to me.

I ended up running out of money, pissing off the reds who came and stomped me. I scored 23 points, but I have no idea if that is good or bad...

Nice game with solid core mechanics! Played through it a few times. Would have loved it, if the towers played a bigger role. The concept has great potential for further development.

I cant imagine how was it made in 3 days. The mechanics are very complex, but well balanced. It took some time to understand how to manage resources, but after i did i started to like the game.

This was really fun, crazy that you effectively made 2 games in 1 here with a tower defence game and a card game, very nice!

yo that's so cool that you could get all this working in a game jam! I really liked it, some cool ideas and situations going on. I got up to 26 on my first try!
It took a little second to get that the game was running while I had to make decisions, but not very long. It did bug me a little however, wasn't able to watch the game running above while I was trying to read and then decipher which stats the decision would effect, and then wager the decision, all under time pressure. I thought that the bars for red and purple were their kingdom's health and that I'd be able to destroy them, not the other way around. I only realized this when I did with purple at nearly empty, but with a relentless stream of purple knights attacking me lol.

But yeah, really cool game, solid concept and interesting situations. Cool stuff 👌🏰

Interesting game. I like the mix of mechanisms. It's a neat strategy game mixed with tower defense.

Got to 37 on attempt 2. I love it when I send gifts to kingdoms and they get mad at me. This is very fun - definitely some work to do on understanding the full consequences of everything that happens. I found myself snap-decapitating some poor bastard as my kingdom collapsed around me, so I think this design worked pretty well.

I love the Reigns + Tower Defence idea :D But I wish it was turn based. I can't read the cards fast enough :( The idea is worth exploring though

Awesome idea for a game and execution of it! The game mechanics are fun and the art style is nice, the only thing missing is some fitting music. Great job with the game!
