I loved the main character! They're so expressive!

The art is nice & consistent, especially with the expressive main character. However, the gameplay is very repetitive & unengaging, & after a while it just felt more sensible to not play at all to get to the end quicker. Good job though.

I definitely got the "delaying the inevitable" vibe here. Though I didn't see the point in it. The people escaped whether I pushed the blue away or not. There was no score. It just felt like I couldn't do anything except delay the inevitable. While I commend sticking this hard to the theme, I wonder, where is the tension? So it felt a bit more like an interactive movie than a game. Cool concept though, and I did have fun going through it the first time, and it did make me think. It kind of feels like life on some level. Thank you for making this.

Not a lot of gameplay to speak of, but I loved the music and the character is very expressive. I also just kinda let go of the controls after a while and stopped delaying the inevitable.

There wasn't much in terms of gameplay but i like how the expressive the character is and the visuals and audio are fitting to the mood. Nice use of the Theme.

That's really great! So simple, but elegant in execution. I also always love PICO-8 games =). Good music too! Maybe more of a bit of "interactive art" than a "game", but I enjoyed it nonetheless.

Nice concept and tunes! A tiny bit more narrative and/or gameplay would really make this something special but I enjoyed my time so thank you!

The best part are the graphics and the music without a doubt! I miss having something more to do (more than pressing the right key)

Nice work, I liked the art and music! The mechanics do a great job of conveying the feeling of "delaying the inevitable," but I agree with the others saying it would be good to have consequences for pushing / not pushing so that there is a reason to delay the inevitable. After the first couple screens I just let the inevitable happen so that I could see everything the game had to offer.

There’s more to it than it looked at first! Really like the mood you managed to create with such minimalistic graphics and audio. Having a score somewhere would have been great, but this is already impressive for just a few hours of work!
