Quite fun to play, although harder than I thought it would be. Didn't notice the tiny spikes at first. I liked the art style - good job

Bravo pour ce jeu, je trouve le personnage super cool. J'avoue que je me suis aussi fait piéger par les piques au début.
Félicitations !

OMG! You're so young and yet so talented! I love the game. It's very simple concept, but very solid. I love the character movement (some entries on Gamejams has always some problems with games like this, platformer that requires precision), but i think you did well.
If i could suggest just one modification, i think that the game could work better if the platforms was a little big than actual. Not a problem if you use those little spaces after some time, because in this case, the player could understand the game rhythm and get used to the jump movement.
I just don't understand how this connects with the theme "delay the inevitable" (maybe because i couldn't finish it).

But good job! You're doing great and hope to see your evolution in the next years :)

@platyboss the theme is that we have to delay the collapse of the cave because we can't get out of the cave we can just delay the collapse

WOW very well done! By far one of the best games I've seen so far this jam! This is much better than anything I made when I was 12 lol, keep it up! Good Luck! Wonderful simple platformer, you absolutly nailed the character movement, that especially is a hit or miss in the LDJam, and you got it at 120%, I loved how you had to use some critical thinking to navigate the platforms, tough at times, but definitly rewarding!
Well Done!

I think the difficulty needs to be toned down. The spikes are so small they blend in to the bumpy platforms. Not to mention this game has zero checkpoints (as far as I can tell). The slightest mistake feels way too punishing, and the further you get the more frustrating it is to poke your toe on a spike you didn't even see. (also the bit with the bird... it feels bad waiting for a ride in a game about running out of time) The slime enemies had me super paranoid, because I have no idea if I can kill them with a goomba-stomp, or if jumping on the slime would end my run, so I just avoided them at all costs. You should definitely find a way to make it clearer if they *can* be jumped on though. I think implementing new mechanics deep into a game without checkpoints gives the player way too much reason to avoid experimenting with the mechanics.

Critical feedback aside, I love the design for the character. The obstacles are well made, and the gameplay is fun. The idea of choosing weather or not to take a harder path in order to gain a few more precious seconds is a great concept, and you did a good job implementing it. Cool game!

Edit: Ahh, good call. I missed the part about jumping on the monsters in the game description. thanks!

This game was really nice overall. The movement felt good and the platforming parts were well thought out.
Only thing and that's "my" opionion in this case - I dislike parts at platforming games where I have to wait. And you have to wait for this flying moth at the beginning every time so this was a bummer for me. But apart from that it was a cool and short experience.

Really well done, it's fun and I tried multiple time ^^
The audio is really great, props to whoever did this music on your team :)
The difficulty curve coold be smoother, it's start rally hard and with a lot of mecanics (spikes, moving platform, etc...), in geenral it's best to let the player experience those in a safe area and let them make mistakes, here you just die right at the start of the level ^^
The graphics are simple but really clear which is important: I understand immediatly what was going on and how to interact with things.
Overall solid entry, maybe you'll ended up in the video game industry one day :)

This is a pretty nice game! I like platformers a lot and it seems like a fun level! I agree that it's quite difficult, but I do like how it encourages you to move quickly and as you die more and more you start to learn the best way to move through the traps.

The music and graphics are quite nice too, overall very impressive that this came together in just 2 days.

I do think some of things you have to wait on could be sped up a bit, such as the moving butterfly at the start and those moving platforms later in the level - for those, if you get there just a second too late, you're kind of just stuck for a while without much to do while the time keeps ticking down. Maybe if it only started moving when you stepped onto it?

Overall a nice entry, congrats on finishing!
