* Gameplay *

This is a playful experience where you have to find words to delay the landing. I hope you'll enjoy it.

* Controls *

Write a single word with your keyboard and press enter.

* Updates *

What a game jam! It took time to find the idea so I didn't have much time left to build around this concept but I have plan to update the game during the month with more words to find.

Really chill game! Loved the idea of it, and once I realised it wasn't time-based I could really relax and just soak in the vibes while I pondered the words.
Cute little entry!

Really enjoyed your game! The graphics fit together really well & trying to figure out the words was pretty fun. Took me a while to find out C____. Great job!

This game is such a mood, in the best way, the aesthetic is great, also loved the concept, when you get it wrong and the little fella's fall to the ground. I also enjoy that it's chill

I give up, I just can't find the 'F', nine letters. I go the rest though!

Anyway, I love what you can do with a minimalist style like this. People often don't realize simplicity like this takes effort too. And attention to detail, like the understated sound-que and one actually falling _faster_ when you miss.

On the other hand, there's not much more to it than that though. I really like the vibes, but well ... even 'hangman' is more involved in its way.

(Are there any easter-eggs?)

Make sure you clearly note it when the game updates, and what you have updated, as that is required (at the very least for Compo/48h), so people have a (sort of) chance to judge what was there initially.

Speaking of uploading things: I was so annoyed that I couldn't find the one with 'F' that I wanted to look up the source-code, but there isn't any? AFAIK that is (still) required for Compo/48h.

Nice relaxing game. I was terrible at finding the words, but I really enjoyed the visuals, seeing the changes in animations when finding a word or typing a wrong one.

The minimalistic visual style and sounds are very nice. It's uncommon for a game jam to have such a good polish, and it definitely helps to give a great experience.

Nice entry!

@remco it's a P not an F ;)

Really nice ! I had to phone a friend because i couldn't find the answers so it was double the fun to search for it (and we did it) !

Quality games don't have to be complex, this is a perfect example of that. I enjoyed the chill vibe but only managed to find one word. If you ever want to tweak the game play in the future you could add more levels or a time limit. Well done!

It's an interesting crossword puzzle, but it doesn't perform in any other way. Overall good experience

Simple but very cool style! Took me quite some time to finish it though (I'm not that good with words)... the atmosphere and music helped me to not give up :')

That's a really cool game, but I can't seem to figure out a method to guess the words. I loved the audio.

Although I couldn't get a single word, the game still had a cool art style, and a probably challenging mechanic.

The game was unintentionally funny when I messed up a word, and the music became more pronounced as the falling man started to fall faster.

It's a nice little word puzzle. :thumbsup: I only got three words, but I am very tired! I like the minimal art style, and that there's no timer. The minimal music and sounds fit well too.

I like the different approach you went with here. It is really well presented and I enjoyed the change of pace compared to many other games! Well Done!

small concept, I love the tiny animations. So far I only have 2/5 words, but I keep my tab open :smiley:

I found the solution quite creative, and I really appreciated that there isn't time constraint and I could fail a few times before getting how to play. Great work!

I want more! What a fabulous execution. I love how you can change the mood by retyping the words. Would be cool to tally the characters delayed while you try to guess the others. Love that there was no time in this world. Great atmosphere. Thanks for the game. Looking forward to where you take this!

This is brilliant. Kind of like a crossword riddle, but built around the theme with incredible audio and visual polish. Very simple, but it is engaging in all the right ways. Guessing words results in a nice audio cue and the falling character dropping to the ground. The animation for each word is pleasant. I appreciate the audio being somewhat out of the way, not front and center, until you interact and guess a word. Really well done.
