HEALTH WARNING: Quick flashing images

Fixes 05/04/2022 -Attempted to fix timing -framerate related - issues that ruined the farts! -Fixed prompt screen issue where level could be reset at any point.

Notable present bugs -In the itch.io html window, clicking while playing sometimes prevents user input. (Temporary workaround is to refresh the page and keep that hand off the mouse button!)

Any further problems please let me know… for education purposes

Not a huge fan of QTE's, but the farts balanced it out. 😂

Okay, I had way more fun than I expected !
The concept is really fun, I liked the gameplay (good cultural reference !)
A little pity the intro is loading everytime though, it makes any retry long and frustating...

This was surprisingly stressful! :joy: Fun concept. Was expecting a string of intestines to fly out after the pressure built up to a certain level :thumbsup:

An unusual entry, perfectly matches the theme :) Got to about 40s at both levels. The only improvement I'd suggest is highlighting the keys if you're actually pressing the right ones (e.g. green [E] becomes blue if player is pressing [E]), otherwise it's hard to see when keys actually change, and even harder to understand if you're even doing the right thing in the beginning (I pressed the indicated keys but nothing happened, which is quite confusing).

Thought that this game is stupid but after learning that he-gassen is a real thing feel enlightened. Thanks for a history lesson. Could use a little more feedback when doing things right or wrong, as was already said

Thanks so far for all the nice and helpful comments! I didn't even plan to enter until on saturday I found myself drawing with a mouse on GIMP.

@jeanne-rossat @solanumteam Agreed with the intro, I was thinking about it but was scared I might create more bugs in the time I had! D:

@lisyarus You're right, didn't value the feedback enough, I also wanted to make the 'fan-man' react when he was getting suffocated... I'll jump on that next time.

@jitspoe I am now aware of the QTE genre and will avoid it in future xD No one will ever top heavy rain.

Overwhelmed with the feedback, surprised I even got to 20 so thanks again, what a great community!

Sincere enjoyment. I think everything works well together. I don't see what much I would change personally besides just adding more animation or tactile response when you press the buttons (e.g. guy makes a sound each button change). Loved it

the gameplay really didn't feel connected to the action taking place in the game. reminds me of the "learn to touch type" games i played in elementary school.

i strongly having some kind of feedback for pressing the buttons correctly and incorrectly, otherwise i have no idea if i'm doing well or not as i play.

i don't know if this is a good score or not, but here it is...

@sakura-magika Yeah, you are right, I feel exactly the same about it. I spent most of the time getting the visuals/animations and audio to work smoothly and the actual gameplay suffered.

I originally wanted to have it so the player had to hold more and more keys as the time went on - a little like the game twister - but the restriction of holding 2 keys on most keyboards put an end to that... maybe that idea would have been just as bad!

Not bad score! Managed about 70 seconds myself. I'm waiting for someone to do well enough until the song ends!
