I love the color scene and the pixel art is great. It was also a nice diversion from the "stay alive" games. Nice job!

Hi!
Tough one!
Nice to see dying as help on the next run.
Music was really cool.
Overall art on point.
Thanks a lot.

Fun concept and art. A touch too punishing.

This little man looks very sporty! The eyes and mouth of the evil spirit are really very interesting. Very much in line with the theme, but can be a little difficult to handle (especially when sprinting and jumping).

Nice art and a good game. I just find it a bit hard at times.

Oooo. You got me going there for awhile. Sweet graphics, tough platforming, and some driving (Eric Matyas) music? I'm in. I bypassed the second lava pit and went to the third, but it snickered and blocked off the second anyway- I was still able to sacrifice in the third pit a couple times. Very difficult, but that seems to be the intention. Maybe needs some coyote time? Just so I can break my personal record of four sacrifices. ;) Thanks for the game!

Super nice visual style and the photo cutout face as a representation of the other god was hilarious! Nice music choice too, even if you didn't create it yourself. I liked it.

The surprise when I tried to just jump into the same pit twice but then got blocked was cool.

I would've liked some more ways of dying. Like, once I tried to crush myself under those moving blocks but it just didn't do anything.
Also I think it didn't really have a lot of those nice helping features like coyote time and corner avoidance so I missed a lot of jumps and bonked my head on tiny corners quite a bit. Not a big deal though, was still fun!

Face png god was pretty funny and I liked how the background had gems representing the number of sacrifices :)

The character only faced to the right even when moving left.

The background looks really cool, but it distracts from what you're actually facing. It's hard to see where you're going because the background mixes with the foreground. Other than that, I liked it!

Love the concept of the level "evolving" as you die. Seemed like the timer was way too unforgiving though, you basically need to be perfect and the platforming is too tight for that. Unfortunate because I wanted to see the rest of the game!

It's nice mixture of surviving and sacrificing to get best ending.
Did complete the game and pissed off the other god. Too bad he didn't try harder to block the last lava.

Marks for originality in the way the (sometimes benevolent?) supreme being periodically zaps blocks between the hero and the lava (thank you) Very nice colour palette and pleasing pixelart animation.

A good amount of challenge, I wanted to retry to see the end... but the best I can do was 6/7 :F Tho' I spotted some bugs when you die before interacting with a blocking cube or a lever but it wasn't so disprupting :) good job!
