Fullscreen recommended on the web build.

You are a person who was flown out into the middle of a wasteland to marry your betrothed. You've never met them, seen their picture, or heard them over the phone. The people who flew you out dropped you pretty far away. This is the story of your journey and your inner thoughts.

This was my first game using the Unity Engine, and boy was there a lot to learn! In my previous LD entries I only used vanilla Javascript, so it was interesting how different it was to use a proper game engine/development kit thing. I think I might have a love hate relationship with the Unity Timeline. It was very frustrating to use, but probably my favorite part of the whole thing.

Anyways, hope you have fun out there!

I liked the creative, yet efficient tree creation process you followed to make this. I tried going down a couple wrong turns to see what would happen, and I liked that the game was aware of those wrong decisions. I liked the inner thoughts too. I don't know that I fully understood the ending, however.

Damn. Very creepy and suspenseful. Great voice acting though. This game took me the longest to play through.

The voice acting is top tier! Loved it! There are so many paths you can take but all of them lead to either some object or the same ending, really liked exploring the world and finding all of those objects.

This is a promising game - delaying the inevitable meeting...

In this game, the cut-outs (trees, final character, signs, title screen) relate to the mystery of the narrative. Similar to scenes you see in movies – letters from kidnappers made out of cut-out printed letters. This artistic device could be used to provide hints of the mysterious part of the narrative.

So many questions on the backstory. Who are the people arranging this marriage? Why did I agree? Did it not seem weird to be dropped off in this creepy place?
Pretty good voice acting. I like the cutout art.

Really enjoyed the voice acting, it added a lot to the game. Definitely made it more fun.

I think you did a great job not having used Unity before, that's impressive for a jam, it would have been outside my comfort zone to try something new like that so really really well done there!

The one thing that I had some trouble with was the mouse control, I found it really sensitive and sometimes hard to navigate, it could have been my own mouse though so not 100% sure if it would be an issue for others.

Overall really great experience, and really really unique!

@sasquatchbstudios I think I've seen that mouse sensitivity can be an issue in unity web builds. If I had known about it, I would have added a sensitivity slider to the options menu. Sorry for the inconvenience.
