Tick Tock by Mandytoh
A little narrative game about death. You play a very old man who can die every minute. You have to remember his life byinteracting with objects to prolong your life time.
* Edit #3 * : Fullscreen or windows build are better experience (you can see and click on the window in the left of the scene)
* Edit #2 * : :headphones: are really necessary for an optimal experience
* Edit #1 * : It’s only a “waiting death” experience with remember parts of life by clicking. You can’t win, or lose, only prolong your life and delay the inevitable :clock2: :skull_crossbones:
Gameplay
- You can click on things to remember.
- You have 90 seconds to do this.
Moving "enlarge" time too
Special feature : it's the real time (check your watch o clock) when start game or level
Controls
- Only Keyboard & Mouse
- Click on the floor to move or on furniture to move and speak.
Bugs
- You can move before wakeup
- Last end fade out is too long
- No mouse feedbacks
- Perheaps lags ?
Comments
48 hours is so hard but so fun ! It was a very cool experience with a good theme.
I made all of this game and I record parts of it on my twitch channel, if you want !
Have fun with a classical piano music :musical_note: and tick tock background !
Information:
I reupload my game because I only modified its name (I'm french and a little dumb.. I wrote "tik tok" instead of "tick tock")
You can compare between the two project sources, nothing more is modified

Thanks for your constructive comment  !
The audio's volume is too low, though. My first play was with speakers and I thought the game was silent. After reading this page once again, I played the game with earphones. The audio is nice, but should be louder, in my opinion.
I liked the variable speed clock ticking... that is unique and interesting.
If I could tell which of my clicking actions resulted in the clock slowing down and which, if any, resulted in the character speaking then gameplay would be much better.
Congrats on the submission.
I actually liked that the interaction with the mouse was not shown - felt more intimate that way. But it confused me that sometimes it felt like speech was automatically shown without me clicking. So maybe just a small interaction of the character with the object they were talking about would have been enough to help with the confusion.
The graphics are nice. The audio is good but why did you leave the piano track only on the menu and at the end ! I would have keep it playin gfor the whole game.
Like you said the control lacks feedback, because the text takes time to appear and switch sentences it's sometimes not clear that you've actually click on something.
