Love the voice acting. You can never go wrong with voice acting. Oh, and the game is fun too ;)

Cool flying mechanic! I really get the sense of flight in this game, especially when the angle of attack on the glider is too high and you stall out. One thing to improve this would be some kind of clear goal for the player to try and achieve. The first thing that comes to mind would be like a distance tracker, and encourage players to get the furthest distance they can. Then you have a clear goal and challenge for players. :)

@junklab Thanks for the feedback! My original idea was to indeed have a more unlimited map with a distance goal and to also have a shop with upgrades for your glider. But as I'm sure you're well aware...things don't always pan out lol. I definitely spent a majority of my time on the physics (hardly any online resources for that!) but I think it ended up being a core fun part. That being said, I did add an artificial goal. If you make it through the cave a bit there is a goal platform you can hit to "win".

Excellent execution on a fun idea, with very nice voice sfx/lines! I laughed at "my leg"! I made it to the end and would have loved more levels/adventures but this was a very nice taste. Thanks for a fun game!

I heard "Ow My Leg" a lot but I eventually got the hang of it mostly. Never made it to the end but it was much fun. Nice entry!

Hehe, funny sounds! Oh my leg! Very nice game, the only thing I would consider to add is some sort of accelerometer bar, so we could see some difference when we pick up those power ups. Well done!

I was not expecting for upside down trees!

So, i have some questions: The launch cackle, there is a witch operating the cannon? The injurie in the leg is previous to the flight? He always complains about the leg, but i am certain that sometimes he fall in his head...

Jokes apart, it's a vere well done and fun game. My only suggestions are to let the space bar restart the game and to put some chiptune to play, the game is perfect for that!

Those soundeffects are hilarious. Simple idea but very fitting for the theme. Soundtrack would be nice though. Anyway great entry! Keep it up!

Super addictive, just the right amount of challenge for me to keep trying till the end. Although the art was really simple, flying felt really good which is the most important part. Would love to see more levels

What a fun little game. The mechanics work well and the audio is just perfect. I would have loved a few more visual elements to discover, like some animals or other points of interest. But all in all this is a very solid compo entry!

Charming little experience, and the sound effects are amazing! I spent A LOT of attempts on it, but I eventually made it to my cave hut. But seriously, this game is adorable in it's simplicity, no offense. Good job!

Really fun game, made me really happy playing it for some reason, so good job on that haha. My only suggestions are to implement a parallax background with some clouds and mountains to make it easier to understand how fast the player is moving when the ground is not on screen, and a distance travelled statistic when you crash the glider. Super cool game, good work! :smile:

Lovely little entry! I couldn't stop playing until I won. Kept dying in the cave, absolutely painful. Got better when I learned I could use up all the boost at the start then carefully glide to that one powerup that's super high up ;) but navigating that cave man, been a while since I played Ribbon...

I loved the Goofy sound when you launch, the blu-blu-blubs, and the SpongeBob quote when you die. Very funny. But I do wish there was ambient sound, or a progress meter, or even just a score, or music, because it is also kinda boring inbetween those sound effects. It's also really hard to see the tiny man's tiny head.

Also, the instructions are not that readable. They don't scale to un-fullscreened and are still slightly offscreen when fullscreened, for me at least. Luckily I read them on the itch.io page before playing so it didn't matter.

Overall, I had fun! I was invested and I really wanted to win, even if it was a bit auditorily barren and I couldn't compare how well I was doing with my friend who was also playing it with me.

couldn't put it down till i reached the end, it's a funny little game. one thing i'd like is maaaaybe a progress bar or score to see where i am overallish.

The voice acting sfx made me giggle haha, overall its pretty fun to try and fly things, but its so slow to start it feels xD. I just wanna speeeed down the mountain, however its still fairly fun trying to avoid the ground.

It's fairly polished looking but a few more features to show how well you're doing in game would be great!

Overall, well done!
