Nice little game. Wish there was some score indication, otherwise you're just aimlessly moving around. I didn't realize you even can move at first, maybe some arrows around a player at start would help. An invisible map border is a little strange, better indicate it somehow.

I love the semitransparent background, I also didn't realize quickly that you can move around. Well done!

Most of it is very pretty, but the main character doesn't fit at all, and the "gun" part just looks really low res and doesn't fit. Still, the sound, background, and enemies were all great.

The whole floaty vibe is awesome, I love the art with all the particles and the background. I just wish there was more to the gameplay.

Nice entry, it was rather fun, and really pleasing to look at, just like other people have said, maybe the player felt a bit out of place, and maybe some more gameplay, or context, would have been great, but either way, congratulations!

I love the visuals, with the moving background and the particles that are affected by you.
The gameplay is good and straight forward.
I wish that I knew how much health I had left, it was hard to tell. And I really didn't like the invisible walls, I would often just hit them and then get hit by the enemy I was strafing. Either let me know where they are or remove them and make the map infinite.

I had fun, Good job!

I loved the out-of-focus aesthetic, and being able to push around the parts of my discarded enemies. The invisible walls were annoying though

Really liked the out of focus background. Also really enjoyed being able to bump around the particles from destroyed enemies. Felt like the lighter enemies were too fast and had too much health, made my character feel pretty weak.

Fun little game overall!

A super simple little game idea. I really like the visuals and the music is also pretty good. Overall a well made little jam game.

Cool little game. Definitely seems to have "Spore phase 1" inspirations (though what microbe game _doesn't_?). I didn't care much for the invisible walls though, when "running away backwards" is the only really viable survival strategy! This could certainly be developed into something really good though!

Simple, but interesting. I liked the out-of-focus background and the way you could push around the particle effects. The invisible walls were kind of annoying, though, and hinder the gameplay a bit. Also, it's possible to get stuck inside the enemies by damage boosting.

I would have loved to try this game on my M1 MacBook, but couldn't. I downloaded the Build2_MacOS.app.zip, unzipped it, but when I double-clicked it, I just got "Das Programm „Build2_MacOS“ kann nicht geöffnet werden." (The program cannot be opened). Any idea what I have to do to make it run?
