Ever wondered why it took so long to shop ?

Welcome to your mall! You don't know how to manage it? Fret not, for we shall guide you!

All you need to know is that people come to the supermarket to buy essential items, what some marketing people call 'loss leader'. But you won't profit from such products! You need to tempt your customers by placing other products in their path that will make them buy impulsively! They didn't know they wanted those, but thanks to you they are able to buy them! But beware of the idea of making a maze-like market: your customers will inevitably leave your supermarket, whether it is after or before paying for your delightful wares. So manage their patience well, and you'll be able to make big profits!

I like the take on the theme -- delay the customer haha. Really solid game; I especially liked all the ambient sound effects that played at random times, it really contributed to the mood. The music was also excellent - am I able to find it on Soundcloud or anywhere else?

Overall very well done!

Oh I like the game.
The graphics and the music fit well together and are beautiful.
The concept is pretty creative as well and is fun to play :)
Also the game is pretty intuitive and self explanatory, good job.
Well done

interesting idea.. but unlimited stock per item makes it simple solution for all levels.. put one of item from all types along shortest path to cashier

@dusho You are absolutely right. We wanted to do much more complex system with different client profiles and stuff. However, we were too ambitious and had to make a minimal gameplay for the release. We consider improve this basis in a post jam version

Noticed a glitch - if I set up isles shelves, loaded them with items, and then reset the items would still be picked up by the shoppers who walked past the empty space.

Game was very fun. Was great watching a guy go in to buy toilet paper, get frustrated, run towards the register to leave, and pick up a porno mag on his way out. The music, graphics, and ui are all very well designed. Maybe I play too many of these kinds of games, but the difficulty is a little low with the AI being a bit too predictable. This is a relatively small complaint given the limited time of a Jam.

What a nice game! I was surpirsed by how chill it was. I liked how you had an infinite amount of time to put out the items, I find many games in this genre to be stressful. It was fun to play too! However, I would enjoy more of a challenge when it comes to points. I reached the minimum on the second level after the second day, and lost a little motivation to keep going therefore. But nice overall. Neat and consistent art style too :)

Good music and art!

Sometimes the customer got stuck in spite of having a straight path to the counter. Maybe I am missing something. I like the concept of the game.

@ciderpunk @lpettler The bug is now fixed. Products are now reset properly. Thanks for the feedback! I added a changelog on the itch.io page.

@hmightypirate Thanks for reporting the bug, we will look into it. It may be related to the fixed bug. Could you try to reproduce it and tell us under which conditions it happened? Thanks!

@dingdingding Thanks for your feedback! Indeed the game is very easy. We wanted to create bigger and harder levels but did not get to it!
