Can't play right now, but art is so cute and actually great! 1 bit pixel art is not so easy to draw, so it's definitely a great job!
Gonna play you game tomorrow and update this comment with real feedback.

Update, as I promised:

Nice puzzle, looks and feels great! I've stuck at level 12. But I love this game anyway

Cute little puzzle game! I really appreciated the art and music. I do wish that the delay mechanic was a little tighter, it took me a bit to get used to the timing. Thematically speaking, I think a stronger sense of inevitability could have been present, but otherwise, super awesome entry! Great work!

Love this game! I think one of the mechanics in the later half needed to be explained better? (Not even sure if it was intended, I found it on accident) Otherwise very clever puzzles and nice art/music to go with it!

Really enjoyable game! As everyone says the artstyle is great. Loved enraging when I mess up and the delay skill cooldown makes me restart the level.

Really like the style I think it works well with the theme !

Like like the concept and I think there would be a lot more you could do with this theme if you keep developing the game.

I also appreciate how much you have managed to do with the mechanic in such a short time. Some of the later mechanics could need some refinement (to be easily understandable) but overall very good job.

The most major feedback I have is that apparently there is no way to restart the level? Or at least I was not able to find such button.

Overall, very good job! Polished and fun jam game is not easy to create.

@nash Thanks for the play and feedback, You need to press R to restart a level. Forgot to write it in controls..

Kinda half the theme, very strong on the "delay" but less so on the "inevitable" part.
But other than that, hard to fault. Fantastic game. Nice job

Some great puzzle design woven in there, I love the levels where you strip things away to bare elements and all of a sudden it looks impossible until you work out a new trick. Good entry! Great music!

I really liked this game, the ideas behind it are great, its just theres a couple of things holding it back.

The player character is quite clunky to move. As you play through the puzzles it makes sense from a design perspective why you need to fall perfectly virtically etc. However it still kinda hurts to play. Would be nice if it was a bit faster :)

Its not immediately clear that pausing time is global. Because the animation is a small circle emitted from the player I thought it was local at first.
It would be really great to have background particles or animations that stop when you pause time (maybe a pallete swap too?) to hint this to the player.

The control scheme are a bit weird but its fine after you get used to it.

Pushing the blocks when time is stopped seems a bit weird as a mechanic, would be nice if it was telegraphed a bit more?

Overall though it was a great entry for the time, good job!

Very good game! I enjoyed the puzzles a lot, although some of them were a little too based on timing, and a little too finnicky, for a game with controls that are *kind* of clunky. I just wish the character didn't feel as floaty, and you could stop and start time more dynamically, that would drastically improve the game feel for me!

But other than the character movement, the puzzles were clever, and there were a few "AH-HA" moments. Kept me hooked till the end! Loved the last puzzle. Also, the art is just delightful, wonderful job on that front! Excellent, polished entry, with lots of little juicy details and smart design. Maybe kind of off-theme, but awesome work!

I'm stuck... Don't know the lvl, 3 buttons, 2 boxes, and spikes on the final line... Around 20 i think. Still, I had some good time playing this game, some mechanics are tricky to understand but nice when you get it. Well done

I've seen the game to the end and i loved the puzzle lvl design. The delay mechanic is brilliant and introduces a different way of thinking.. like the hovering boxes. Overall and excellent game for my taste! Great work shmador :)

p.s. i would love an end screen after the last lvl. You know, i needed a reward xD

Really nice idea with the time pausing. I wish some of the game mechanics were communicated in the game, such as the crate pushing while paused. I had to come to the comments to figure that one out. Otherwise the game is pretty fun with decent puzzles. I managed to finish all the puzzles and they were all good except for the one where the red horn mob falls into the door slot, because the timing needs to be so perfect, which is a little tricky.

This was a solid puzzle game! The amount of levels were also impressive! Some levels could be switched to improve the difficulty curve (some later levels were pretty easy and early levels were more difficult)

Great game!

That was amazing! I loved how there were new mechanics introduced steadily. I'm not great at puzzle games (though I do like them), but none of them felt too hard to me, but I felt accomplished when I figured them out. They felt perfectly balanced to me. The art style is super unique, your take on the theme was unique, overall just a whole lot of good stuff going on!

I loved it! This is definitely my type of game!
From the graphics, through the music and, of course, the gameplay.

Develop more complicated puzzles and we will have an excellent game to sell.

Congratulations!

This is an easy 5/5 across the board for me.

* Artstyle is cute, I especially like the squishing on the boxes as they land and the flames. Minimal without feeling like just developer art.
* Music and SFX fit perfectly.
* Choosing a color to represent the time stop in red is really smart, it opens up so many new possibilities for puzzles and is very intuitive.
* I like the mechanic of pushing a box while time being stopped and it being pushed after unpausing. I like that it exists all along in the game without telling you about it. Made for a good head scratcher and a big ohhh moment!
* There's a really good amount of levels for a solo developer in such a short time!

Congrats, I wish I had made this :)

Best game i've seen all jam so far. A complete experience, feels like a classic, easy 5/5.

Simple concept which is executed very well, easy to understand, right level of difficulty, consistent and tasteful art presentation, what else is there to say?

Fantastic work, great game.

Pretty solid game. I enjoyed the puzzles and ideas. I also really enjoy hard games, but only when they are fair. This game had a few spots where the timing needed to beat the level simply was not fair. Imo that could be addressed. I won't hurt the score because I'm not a good enough player though haha just wanted to mention it. Awesome job!

That was a really cute game @shmador! I didn't play it all the way through on stream the other day but I got to the end eventually! The graphics are nice, the puzzles are super fun and the music is really fitting. The color scheme is simple but cool and I enjoy seeing the attention of detail that went into the little animations. I was bothered by only a few minor details. Like at the end of the game I was hoping for a little congratulatory screen. And when climbing up, the player sprite suddenly lacks a lot of detail (she looks naked). That's just about the only criticism you'll see from me though. I had a fantastic time playing this!

Hello Shmador,

This game was incredibly fun. Loved the animation and simple art style as well. The level design was great and felt very rewarding to play through. The freeze/time mechanic is very innovative. Honestly not many critiques here accept for maybe an indicator on which level you are on/how far you have gotten. Overall great game!
