I really like how this game looked. At first I thought the kids were going overboard with not wanting to kiss grandma. But then I soon understood why! Haha, great work. Too bad you didn't have enough time but it is a good entry anyway.

This was hilarious! I really enjoyed like 8 million grandmas coming to get me by the end. At first I didn't see a reason to switch kids from the pistol kid, but then when I realized how the "ammo" meter worked, I realized there was some depth at knowing when to switch.

The grannies look great, especially when they dislocate their jaws to swallow you whole. I did find that the difficulty curve was a bit intense going from quite easy up to 100 grannies where it suddenly becomes impossible, the highest I could get was 104.

This has to be the funniest game I've seen in this Ludum Dare. The grannies are very scary.

It´s really funny and has moments of tension when the grandmans are going to eat you. The controls are simple but effective and the weapon of each "soldier" has its purpose. I had a good time playing it, and ACDC rocks!!

The multiple weapons and limited ammo worked very well. It actually makes you think pretty hard on what you should be firing. *Especially* because the difficulty ramps up pretty fast halfway though.

I liked the extra effort you put into selling the setting. The characters having different outfits, the ominous cat portraits in the BG, and of course, the wild kissing animation lol

Very cool and polished game!!! The concept is fun (we have a grandma in our game too, but she's not that bad :laughing: ), and the end is clearly 100% inevitable.
I'd totally read 3 pages of background on the 8 cats xD
PS: @peachtreeoath wasn't going to post this but since it's one more grandma than you it summoned my natural competitiveness...

nice one. selecting the kid first to shoot feels a bit clumsy. I would just assign 3 hot keys.
the concept is great executed. made me laught. Also great cats! better make some NFTs :P

Oh, I really liked this one! Gameplay was really fun, and I liked how it got harder, to the point where suddenly I had a ton of grandmas coming my way, that was great. Graphics were nice, and as most people here, I also really liked the background cats. The only thing that bothered me a bit was that sometimes, it felt weird to select other kid and shoot with it, but apart from that, amazing game, so congratulations!

I loved the art, grandma was really creepy! Near the end I think it's impossible to survive for long, in line with the theme. Great entry!

My kids can relate I think.

Humor was on point, and your sound effects and voices really helped that.
I wish I had a few more options, but the kids different abilities helped vary the gameplay up a bit. Which to use when was a pretty stressful decision, and I kept wasting my grenades!

What did I just play lol? Top 10 in humor for sure, the voice-overs are amazing and the extra detail with the huge open mouth when they get to close is nice as well. The gameplay fits the theme and is easy to understand without any complicated tutorials, so overall a very nice entry.

This game turned out to be way better than I initially expected. Really love the atmosphere. Nice touch with all the cat images btw.

When they opened their mouths like that, it went from 0 to 100 real quick :flushed: Like the game, simpe & fun, but it got suddenly harder and couldn't keep up - couldn't fire anymore, was really overwhelmed :sweat_smile: Maybe upgrades could be added for each idk, 50 killed grannies? Also, the kids could have different colors, to help differentiate between them, when focusing on grannies :smile:

The voice acting got me everytime. I like that each kid attacks in a different pattern. When i first saw a grandma unhinge her jaw to "kiss" one of the kids i was horrified. Good submission. thunder.....

Cute and funny, especially the jaws. The art is really well done, the menu looks good too. I think the balance could be done better, because most of the game can be played with only the kid on the bottom, and when it becomes too difficult for him, it becomes too difficult for everybody almost immediately. Still a nice entry. I repelled 73 grandmas.

Very unique way for the theme implementation, was fun to play indeed. Loved the addition of the AC/DC song, totally sets the atmosphere for the game. And grandma's voice, dang it, it was so realistically vocalised, gives a reason to make this game a horror. Good job!
