Hey, rly liked this game. Especially the absurdness, haha, so ridiculous. Also the simple sounds and the simplistic graphics somehow worked together.
Btw, if you can, try to export portable version. I think many people here will appreciate no need to install a program on a computer :)

Didn't like how you had to install it. It should've been exported as a single runtime version. A decent game. I feel like a wider variety instead of the 2 questions the boss asks would be better. I liked the multitasking required. The graphics are very basic, and there seems to be no audio at all. The game functions as expected, although it is hard to tell which letter you have to type.

I've added a portable version of the same build :) I hadn't considered it so thanks for the input @viktor-dedek and @lako :)

Always nice to see another Gamemaker Studios dev. And yes, I did fuck your wife. Funny game with a classic yet fun gameplay loop.

This game is really challenging, but I had fun with it. It has really funny questions too! I got fired in the first 30 seconds lol.

Lol this was super funny! I like having to juggle multiple tasks like this, though I found it really hard to fraternize and type in order at the same time, especially since I had to move my mouse to press one button or the other. A couple times it seemed like I was typing the letters on the screen but it wouldn't accept it, though maybe I did something wrong. I'm glad I don't have a boss like this :D. Nice job!

This game is so silly it got a few chuckles out of me haha.
Sadly, my brain isn't coded to handle reading two things at once and typing, so the gameplay got a bit hard for me. Maybe the boss should start appearing more the longer you manage to keep your job instead of doing it ever so often when you're just starting to get the hang of it (then again, it could just be a me thing)
Over all, i really enjoyed the game!

Definitely amusing, although I struggled with the execution a bit...! I can type at a pretty decent rate, but not when I've got one hand on the mouse trying to keep the boss happy at the same time... :sweat_smile:

A bit more of a gap between times when the boss shows up, or yes/no options that are on the keyboard (so, maybe numbers, or "+" and "-" or something) might have made the experience lean more towards challenging, rather than frustrating!

Also, I don't know if I was just mistaking it for another letter, but it never seemed to like it when I tried to enter the "Y" prompt, for some reason.

i like how you give the player the choice to fuck the boss's wife. in the following manefesto i will lay out why "fucking the boss's wife" should be integral to all future game designs...

really though, this is a neat concept that simulates both working with people you hate doing work you detest.

Having to focus on more than one thing at a time is challenging but fun, I did have a few instances where the letters wouldn't go away even after typing them though.

A+ for depicting how hard it is to try to work when someone (especially your boss) wants to talk to you at the same time. Hard and frustrating, as this situation would be. Cute small idea well executed.

I'm really glad that people got the vibe I was going for, there's definitely a lot of changes I want to make, a lot of additions too. But honestly I am thrilled that the core/heart of the game still came through.
I'm definitely looking forward to Ludum dare 51 now :D

OBS! really important, Neither I nor the game recommends fucking your boss wife or telling him/her about it.

despite the fact of simple implementation i liked it! totally got the vibe. was getting frustrated while our boss was bothering us with his unrelated to work questions but i guess that's the boss work. i guess i did a great job telling him i'm not fucking his wife, it would be dishonorable. hope that you will improve your project into something bigger, cause i loved the humor part and how you managed to imply it into the game (graphics also slaps). good luck!
