Arkeon by Achiliuus
In Arkeon, you are an anonymous hero trying to eradicate ninjas and their leader from Arkeon City's streets. Roam in the gloomy night and evolve to gain enough power to destroy your enemies..
This is a 2D game where you fight dangerous enemies and bosses. Every 10 seconds a random passive skill pops out for the 10 next seconds, with their pros and cons. Once you've defeated the level boss, you can open a chest and choose a new passive skill. One of the remainings is given to the boss for the next level. Grind the levels, create your own playstyle and try to survive.

I did love the main menu as well, thought that was a really cool addition. Good job overall though!
but my brain...and my visual cortex...they crave more juice...more sweet sensory feedback when slashing the ninjas...if you add this, you creations will be on a very good way to conquer the hearts and minds of the players...
you probably know it already...but the youtube vid below has some juicy secrets...that applied to the ARKEON would work wonders...
good work! jam on!

I should add, it seems like you can't attack while moving, which seems to me like a cardinal sin for sword-based gameplay.
