🎯 Description

A race against the clock, literally! Protect the extractors that are warping in by carefully repositioning enemies and other objects on the field. The clock hand does a full rotation every 10 seconds and will trigger objects when it touches them.

I didn't manage to implement proper high scores so feel free to share your high score in the comments.

🎮 Controls

  • WASD/Arrow keys/Left analog stick to move

  • SPACE/CTRL/Btn A to drag objects

Note: Plays better with a gamepad

Very clever use of the 10 seconds.
Maybe a slower clock in the first levels will be nice for the learning curve, just in case you want to continue developing the game after the jam.
Good job!!!

Good implementation of the theme. Nice job!

Love the clock hand moving as a physical barrier; great use of theme. It was very satisfying to move the gun turrets around! I thought I was being clever by putting them up against walls, only for them to turn around!

I wish the things you had to protect were a little more "themed" though; I'm not sure what they were supposed to be. Briefcases?

@mikesalyh haha, fair point! I updated the graphics on that. They were supposed to be some kind of extractor. Thanks for the feedback

Ok, it tooook me so long to understand that you meant dragging stuff by pushing them while pressing with your character and not by *dragging* them with the mouse (like click and drag... I really need to go to sleep.). Maybe the splash screen is missing the fact that your character is moving with wasd and can also push objects along

Past that it is a superb entry! The game design is very nice, graphics are beautiful.
I love the slowmo when a bullet goes past you!!

Congrats!

A super cohesive little experience that I am not very good at lol. I really like the vision here overall! I was very confused about what the clock hand was supposed to be doing until I read the description below the game. I feel like visually it could be helped with some graphical juice like a small pulse when it activates an object, and also making it a gray tone so it's more obvious when it's passing above/below an object. The music choice works super well with the theme you have too

I dont know if i want to play or break the dance floor! what a nice music you have there! i loved the clean and minimalistic art of the game, took me a while to figure out what to do but i handle it. Great use of the theme

The playing method is very novel, and the game music is also very suitable. At present, I have played my favorite game

Really nicely polished game with great sound design. The clock hand activating things was very clever. Not sure if you are meant to be able to drag multiple things or not at a time.

Very nice concept of game. But a little bit difficult for my. May by need some a bit easier first part. And like the music.

Great Concept! I could see this being a very successful release if additional items were introduced! Nicely Done!

Smart use of the theme here !
Little hard to understand but when you figure it out it’s nice gameplay.

Pretty fun! There's a suprising amount of different strategies you can get out of just a few mechanics, definitely a game that'd feel amazing to get into a flow state in and rack up a huge amount of points.

Very interesting concept.

Graphics were simple but very nice.
The music was good and fit the game, feel like it was a little too loud.

Overall pretty fun game

Nice entry! I like the minimalistic style, put the clock in the mechanics is very smart in fits well, is very inmersive, i love the electronic so great music and sound effects, I get like 18-19 score, it gests complicated, but very funny, great job!

Thanks everyone for all the feedback! In general I get that the instructions should be clearer, the difficulty ramp should be less harsh in the beginning and mechanics activation should be more evident. I'll try to work on that in a more polished post LD version

Pretty good mechanics that work well with the theme, and a solid implementation.

@dhim Haha, thanks for noticing the slowmo effect! I worked a bit to tune that but I feel it was underutilized as a mechanic in the end. I might consider using it as a powerup

@deprecat Thanks! Totally agree with your points. I have to work on my graphic design skills a bit

@ch33sybacon Yes it's intended to drag multiple things at the same time. You should use it as much as possible

Great application of the theme. Maybe instrucctions could be clearer in the beggining.

Really nice job in fitting the theme! Also, I loved the music and the art as well felt very cohesive and gave it a pretty unique look. It took me a couple of rounds to really understand how to properly act strategically, partly because of the clock that keeps spinning and maintains the rhythm pretty high. Well done!

compelling core gameplay. Feels awkward for the game to mostly play through keyboard and the menus only accepting mouse input. Good game nonetheless!

WOW!!! innovative way to play! I love this idea! It's fun to position them and then let the hour hand trigger them! The first time I thought it was about attacking protected positions XD, the second time I played it I realized it was about getting turrets to attack each other to gain points! I really like the slow play when the bullet is about to hit the main character! Great work!! Love it!

Fairly nice idea, even tho it's pretty chaotic (firstly because of difficulty curve & the fact that all the turrets shoots at different time). I would say that slight slow down of the game might make it more attractive actually. But respect for minimalistic art (it's working!) and for dynamic ost

Very well thought through. Great concept, and good difficulty rating. It was fun to play, and on top of that one of the games I played in safari webbrowser that actually works very well. Great implementation. The music and audio in general is very fulfilling, visually id love to see more colors in a later iteration :)

Really innovative mechanics! I found this a lot of fun, although it seemed to escalate really quickly. Great example of a simple but interesting idea executed well.

Good job with the game. It was a very clever concept that is pretty easy to understand but quickly becomes challenging once you have more stuff to manage. It always felt like I was on my toes trying to make sure things were safe and that I was not going to get sniped from one of the turrets.
