It's just a standard game concept with the jam theme included. It would had been nice if you included more original features into the game so it wouldn't seem so much like the original. I liked how you had a leaderboard though.

This has no business being so juicy. It feels really satisfying to play. I feel like the theme could have been integrated into the gameplay somewhat to make it more unique.

Very nice game, satisifying to play, and a good take on an old classics. I wish the difficulty was more progressive, it gets crazy very quickly! But I retried several times and had fun! Good job :)

Addicting .. I lost all sense of time while playing, slowly improving my score up to ~50 points on a consitent level.

But it felt quite unfair and based on RNG as those purple balls are way way better than the normal ones and when you get a few of them, you survive way more - the item that makes the paddle larger is acutally a debuff, as if the game wasn't hard enough already. xD

And yea, there are some unsolveable situations where you have to get hit to reach the ball.

And the wall is sometimes reflecting the ball in strange ways.

Still, I played it seemingly forever and was never annoyed by the music, visuals or controls. So despite all my critique, I think it's a well made game. ^^

Really enoyable.

I really liked how you used a well known genre and made it to fit the theme, it was unique and I enjoyed it. Even without the twists, the game would still be great, the mechanics were smooth and the graphics were great. I would prefer a lighter palette of colors, or to have some stronger colors and some contrast, but that's totally my personal opinion. The falling of the blocks was nice and very innovative, it caught me off guard many times...

The leaderboard was an excellent touch that kept me going trying to place. For the record, I WAS third place with 137 when I played. Who knows what happens from here...

Could easily end up being a very addictive game, definitely felt like I just wanted to keep trying to get a higher score.

This is perfect mobile game material, well done. This is definitely something I'd whip out at the bus stop for a quick play. It all comes together nicely, the feedback you get is very satisfying, the obstacles falling down is honestly such fun, they always get you. Simple, but most effective, a beautiful LD entry !

Score of 99. I died because a block fell in the middle and I became stuck on the left side. I guess I was probably supposed to destroy that block before it fell? It definitely was unexpected.
Multiple balls is a nice powerup though sometimes I am greedy and miss them all instead of just catching one ball.

Great concept with dynamic stage obstacles! One issue I saw was that initially the ball falls vertically and keeps bouncing without touching anything. You need to edge it in order to start playing, maybe it should start at an angle?

Wow this is really polished! Had some weird bounces where it would bounce on the side of something and then bounce again and go back up. Other then that though, really good! With just slight tuning to movement speeds and such and you could totally release this!

As others have said this is really polished and feels like a complete game. Dig the music and the effects. I do agree with some that its hard to get the ball up to a really useful speed.

Really awesome game! Sometimes the balls bounce a bit strangely but otherwise it's absolutely amazing. After more tries than I'd like to admit, I finally managed to get first place :D


Fun game! Not sure if this is a global issue or just my local set up but my mouse didn't lock into the game screen. I would love if I could see my global ranking even if I didn't get into the top five on the leaderboard. I really like the squash and stretch in the animations, everything feels substantially juicy.

Really fun and addicting. I love high-score based games, it makes me want to keep playing more and make it on the leaderboard. Watched a streamer play it for a bit and overall solid mini game.

I'm bad at it but it's fun! Great job with the spawns keeping things interesting.

In general a really cool game, but for my taste way too much luck dependent. I got 160 on my first try (or my first real try after figuring out falling things kill you) and then never got close again to that score for half an hour of playing. I was just very lucky on the first run. Lucky with the drops, lucky with the bounces... The inconsistent bounces are very frustrating while playing.

Really well made! Juicy and fun.I really liked the addition of obstacles. Having to avoid things while trying to catch the ball was very fun. I also liked the fact that if you lost your ball while you had an upgrade on its way down, you got to keep playing. That saved me a lot of times.

Nice take on an already great game. There was a lot of "just *ooone* more time and then I have to move on to the next game* before I finally was able to stop 😁 The base game is implemented well but of course the big deal are the twists, and those were some fun ones! Bet there were some hazards I never got to see because I wasn't able to get beyond a certain point, eventually always getting crushed or missing the ball. I really like the way the timer is telegraphed with a simple dark bar. The music is good and fits the level of tension, and the sound effects are nice too. Honestly there isn't much to criticise beyond the fact that half the work is just a classic game, but that's why I wanted to focus on what you added to it, which again was good and felt fair since it was clear you were generally safe before the time was up, and things like the big block in the beginning were actually helpful before then since it caught the ball and got you a lot more bricks without risk of falling down. Nice and neat! 😊
