the ten seconds is incrporated in this game in a kind of subtle way, I like it! It also has some really cool animations and creatures, shame everything is so small you barely see those.

A nice touch on the theme!
And an adorable character (and approaching crocos)

The controls might have felt a bit wacky since it's not always easy to see where your character's push zone is, but still fairly solid for a jam entry. Congrats!

@firellon did you try to play with keyboard or controller ? Sadly the keyboard controls are suboptimal. We didn't want to add mouse input to the game but without it's a bit wonky. I would like to know if keyboard was the issue for you or if it was something else.

Thanks for the feedback and the kind words !

Great way of explaining the game! It was easy and intuitive. DMs really can be scary...

This is a really innovative application of the theme, the tile-pillars look so good as the segments collapsed. And it really felt satisfying throwing the enemy off the edge, of watching the pillar they're climbing collapse.
I also liked the art. As others have said it was a little hard to see your character and tell where the hitbox was when you were pushing. Great job overall, lots of fun!

Fun little jam game! The two different monster types gave it some nice gameplay, and the theme was well implemented. The shaking platforms were a bit hard to see on my resolution, but I had fun regardless.

This game is so cool !

Constructive feedback:
This game would benefit from visual feedback on the cooldowns of your actions (I want to see when i can push and when I can dash)
In the first level the audio does not really match the mood of the empty level :)

This is an original take on the theme and the game is FUN. Congratulation.

@amarokczukay Yeah, it's sad but it's your survival first ! ^^

@skyward4d Hitboxes sure are an issue with this type of view. We decided to use a circle at the feet for moving around, colliding, falling and hitboxes around the bodies for pushing/swords/rocks. Might not be the best approach though

@vulkaara Really ? What resolution did you use ? Was it the shake or the particles flying from the ground that were are to see ?

@arscene We decided not to show cooldowns for pushing as it is so short. And the 2 other abilities are instant refresh on tile collapses with their uses shown by the input prompt below disappearing. But it's right that it might not be clear enough and could be improved

Really like the graphics and sound, I like how you gradually introduce the mechanics into the game makes it easy to understand and play. The theme....it works against the game 10 seconds is simply too long to wait for the tiles to fall, if it was more fast paced the game would be better but it wouldn't follow the theme.

@digitaldude555 we thought about adding more monsters to avoid empty time. But the issue is we couldn't playtest much and we prefered making the game a bit too easy than too hard to have people play it ^^

Fun that you could bait enemies into dashing themselves off. Got a good laugh when on climbed up only for the level do collapse on it immediately. Good idea unlocking the mechanics one by one.
