Bug Fix version -
Easier to grab creatures and scoop poop Balance the gameplay. Easier to get new creatures. Wood can be selected as a floor. Cancel building when the mouse is over a UI. Can't drop creatures on fences or out of bounds

This Game was made with my two daughters. Estel made the sprite artwork. Priscilla made the cover art and the music. It's about taking care of creatures. If two different creatures are next to each, they might create a new creature. The final goal is to discover all the creatures

Purple = red and blue

Green = blue and purple

Orange = green and red

Pink = red and purples

Black = pink and orange

Shine = pink and black

Devil = red and black

Cow = black and shine

Hamburger = cow and devil

Cube = hamburger and cow

Human = cube and cow

I like when they reproduce new kind, poop and have unhappy emoji, and they have the pleading emoji on their face, reminds me of my ex-gf

@sofy They said thank you! The daughter that did the sprite work has only been doing it for less than a month. She doesn't really draw much either. She's only in middle school. I'm proud of both of them.

@destiny2028 Lol. I had fun making all of those and my daughter did an amazing job drawing them.

Absolutely adorable! They did a great job. I wish it was a bit easier to start with, though. Had to watch my initial 2 creatures die a lot before seeing them flourish.

@thomas-yanuziello @enjl I ran out of time and couldn't make it easier. At first, it was super easy, so it really didn't matter if you took care of them or not. I tried fixing it, but it became difficult. I'm going to try to get a better balance and upload that version.

@notalobster @lavendaggers @marcodeevil My daughter did such a great job with them!

@itskdog Ahh, that makes sense. I ran into balancing issues with my submission as well. They always seem to take up more time than you'd want them to. Hopefully you can find a good balance. If I may throw an idea into the ring: Perhaps making it adaptive would be a good solution? Decreasing the leniency over time by mix of hatched/alive creatures (up to a limit).

I like that i can build things there and place fences and such. I admire that you made something where ppeople can build things and that will have influence on creatures. That there is some sort of life included. And taking of poop was nice :D

Fun little game, you should be proud of what you made! I sold off all my lower level creatures and suddenly only got pink ones, money was not an issue after that. Small bugs when placing fences or floors but that was only a minor problem. Good work!

@borka Thanks for playing! I really wanted everything to feel alive. Like the flowers and rocks animate. Also the poop moves around.

@kujoen I'm glad you enjoyed it. I was going have a shop for the game to buy extra blues or reds, but didn't have enough time. My daughter made the sprite for it too. I'm glad the controls worked as well as they do. It can be tricky with this type of game.

I am glad you found my game and sent me your feedback so I was able to discovered your cute little game! I can definitely see some experience here haha, I really like this type of gameplay and I enjoyed this game a lot.
Are you guys gonna polish the game further? I couldn't find your itch.io page link, do you have it? Or is there any other way to contact you? A lot of questions :grin:

@yani Thanks for playing this cute game! I might publish it on itch.io. Not going to spend too much time updating or changing it. I might change how money is earned and have a shop for buying stuff. Awesome Game. Enjoyed the overall concept and gameplay. really enjoyed the 10 seconds factor you implemented in the game. A little more work from the SFX sides would have done wonder. But still a great job keep it up. Please do check out my submission as well.

Very interesting concept. Very chaotic after a few minutes! The blobs eventually just evened out in a way where none of the remaining blobs could make anything new (purples, oranges, and black), so it sort of just stagnated.

They seem to lay eggs faster than starving, so there's just a perpetual monster farm that will never run out. I just kept selling til 10K and figured that was the best I could do in my run.

I did find out you could cripple yourself at the beginning by selling the first blobs without realizing they don't come back XD

@davidsheadgames it is a little chaotic. It was hard to try to balance the game. I knew the game would be over if the blue or red died off or you sell them. I was going to add a shop to buy eggs. Had the art for it, but ran out of time.

Really nice game ! I like how the core concept is simple yet still engaging. I inadvertently sold all my creatures except one, so I was stuck on discovering new creatures. Also it's a bit overwhelming at the beginning as the number of creature grow really quickly and I was trying to please them. But I really like it, well done !

This is so cute, good job to you and your daughters! I think it would be a bit hard to get all the different species without the instructions but it was fun to play anyway.
