We've been here before... or at least somewhere similar... We took the theme are interpreted it in a different way to when we did LD27 and the "10 seconds" theme. Would You Care For Seconds? is a game about competitive eating, where the aim of the game is to beat 10 food challenges at 10 different restaurants, and HAVE SECONDS! Every time you beat all 10 levels, your children and your children's children (who all uncannily look the same) take up your mantle and do it all again!

Artwork is mostly ours, with only a couple of food items remaining from the GDevelop asset store. Backgrounds and the table are modified stock photos.

This game made me want to pull out my hair. Good job! Graphics are simple and the audio is also consistent and fits the game. This was also a really interesting take on the theme. Nice work!

Fun concept!! The mechanics were a little hard to get used to, but it was pretty interesting to play with :) I wish the time would be just a little longer on at least earlier levels so I can learn how to eat most efficiently. Good work.

The art style in this game is so good. Everything fits so well. And the music at the end is just, PERFECT!

This is a fun game! As Fawtune said, the mechanics are a little hard to get used to, but the game feels great and the mechanic is really funny!

QWOP AS AN EATING GAME

I'M GIVING THE WHOLE THING BONUS POINTS JUST FOR THAT

Mind you, I'm not very good at it, but I won't hold that against it. (Would you believe that this QWOP-alike has the LEAST obnoxious controls of any of the handful of games I've played and rated thus far?)

Fun QWOP-like! Nice attention to detail with the small push if the food gets stuck near the corners. Not sure how much the different levels add to the game as the food pretty much falls into a pile from whatever arrangement it starts from :D Also I hit a small bug where the fart song was playing on top of the normal one after restarting too fast. But in general the game works fine, the controls are awkward (as they should be!) but still intuitive that you can achieve what you want to do, good work!

Perfectly frustrating! I couldn't beat a level for the life of me, but that's definitely the point of this genre. It took me a little while to get you implementation of the theme, but when it hit me i laughed out loud.
One small bug report - I loaded the first level without looking at the controls, and didn't eat anything. The game counted that as a win, no idea why.
Excellent game, good atmosphere, good graphics, good music, good simple humor!

10/10, gave me serious indigestion. My girlfriend wants me to add that I felt like Anthony Bourdain the whole time. :stuck_out_tongue:

The QWOP mechanics are an excellent touch, and I appreciate the different levels too - I didn't manage to get seconds for the breakfast and hot dog levels, but I got plenty from the fancy restaurant and from Charles Entertainment Cheese.

A great little QWOP-like! The Pretention level has got me wondering what a pinball game with this mechanic would play like. My only criticism is the 3rd level lagged like crazy(hot & heavy I think?), it took maybe 2 minutes to play out. Other than that a very fun, creative and funny game!
