on track to party by LucaVazz
Do you like trains? You can find them right here in this game!
Join Jeffrey the Giraffe in his high speed adventure to create the perfect party train! Travel accross 9 biomes and countless stations to get all the resources you need, whilst meeting new Giraffe passengers on the way!
Be warned! Every journey between stations only takes 10 seconds, not a lot of time to plan!

Tutorial
You help Jeffrey to manage his train. For this you interact with stations and junctions.
The goal is to afford the party carriage to fulfill Jeffrey's dream and allow him to retire. 🦒🎉
Stations
- There are 100 stations to explore in total on our hand-crafted map
- Each station is either a main station (marked in gold), cargo--only (marked in purple) or passenger-only (marked in green)
- You can discern the stations by their icon on the map and the main stations show a gold name in the station ui
Biomes
- The map is divided into 9 biomes: plains, sea-side, desert, city, mountains, underwater, rain-forest, volcano and rainbow space road!
- You can differentiate the biomes based on the environment around the station
Cargo
- You can buy cargo at main and cargo-only stations, each station offers 2 (cargo-only) or 3 (main station) types of cargo
- You can sell cargo at any station
- Some cargo is common and available in all biomes, while other cargo is specific and can only be bought at stations in certain biomes
- A full list of all cargo in the game can be seen in the sell tab
- For cargo which is not offered in the biome a station is in, a higher price will be paid when you sell it to the station
Passengers
- You can let passengers board at main and passenger-only stations
- Passengers pay you when they reach any other main or passenger-only station
- The "total added count" does not properly update in the jam version
Upgrades
- You can upgrade your cargo and passenger carriages and your locomotive
- Upgrades are linear, i.e. you can only upgrade to the next tier one by one (Mk1 -> Mk2 -> Mk3)
- Furthermore, you can upgrade to the party carriage (at the end of the horizontal list), to finally fulfill Jeffrey's dream
- In the jam version the carriage upgrades are only cosmetic, as the increased capacity has no effect
- Furthermore, in the jam version the cargo and money don't get deducted when upgrading (as time for implementation ran out)
My Train
- The list on the right shows your currently loaded cargo
- Below, you can see your current amount of cash you've got available
- Earn cash by selling cargo at a higher price and transporting passengers
- The total weight shows how heavy your loaded cargo is in total, in the jam version however it has no effect
Map
- The bottom right corner shows you a mini-map of your current surroundings
- By pressing [M] on your keyboard you can open a full screen map
- The map gets progressively revealed, once you visited a station its connections are shown on the map
Travel between stations
- By clicking the "Go!" button besides the map, you set off to drive to the next station
- Every journey takes 10 seconds
- You only have 5 seconds to set the fast approaching junction!
- Click on one of the available buttons or press the appropriate key on your keyboard to decide which path to take
Extended Version
The jam version is the state of our game at the end of the jam time - beware it has missing features and bugs.
The extended version contains additional fixes and extensions to cover our game idea better.
:whitecheckmark: added original music by Losch
:whitecheckmark: adapted styling of main menu and settings menu
:whitecheckmark: added more decoration in various biomes - including giraffes 🦒

We've just added a tutorial to our game page, please have a look if you'd like and let us know if it clears things up.
(We're also intending to add an in-game tutorial to the extended version soon.)
It would be nice to see next to your cargo the price at which you bought it!
We plan to add more in-game information (a tutorial and a travel log) as well as adapt the selling of items at the same station in our extended version soon - stay tuned for an update ;)
An ingame toturial would be nice. An maybe introducing mechanics one at a time, it is a bit overwhelming at the begenning :)
