Really polished for a jam entry, congrats!
I love the vibe change between minigames, and it was also a great idea to show the timer on the character. :muscle::clock1:
Anyway, well done!
Good job though :thumbsup_tone1:
It was fun, though! Good job!
you made a global high score, that is impressive!
I think the transitions between games is too abrutp, passing from catching butterfly to avoid rocks in a blink, sometime the rock is already on me at beginning of the new game.
GG though!
I like the switch between "catch" and the two other because it force you to a quick change of movement :)
Nice music switch too ^^
The only thing is that nothing prevent you from being very protective and take the minimum amound of risk had avoid catching stuff at the near end of the timer.
- That you added different interactions for each step.
- That the different modes had such different music.
- That the music in the dodge step comes from the astroids bumping into eachother.
- That you are the playing as the timer clock.
Very well made with a lot of small nice details!
loved the fact that changing gameplay wasn't just a gimmick but also a way to make the player take more risks by getting closer to what will be eventually an ennemy
My only regret would be that on a first play you can spawn really close to an ennemy and therefore die in less than a second (ti's frankly just for nitpicking)
Nice work 👍
I love how each minigame requires different spaceing, movement and action. You really have to pay attention to the timer to nail the transition. Took me a while to figure out dodging actually gives score. Great game!
This was super fun. I've played a few LD51 submissions where the entire game basically changes like this one, but what I think is really clever is how the rocks, butterflies, and blobs change and persist when the clock runs out. It gave a continuity to the whole game that I really enjoyed. I loved the different types of music depending on the game mode. I also really liked how your own character displays the time _and_ what mode you're about to switch to. That was a really great detail.
As I am writing this, I am at the top of the board! :stuck_out_tongue: But I am sure someone will dethrone me soon. Nice job on this game!
Nice seeing the visuals and hearing the audio change between minigames. Fun at first and then even more fun once you stick with it and realize how to be maximizing the multiplier!
I think if you wanted to keep working on this after the jam it would only get better with more minigames!
