Hello, esteemed jammers!
Tutorial was cut due to shortages, so this backstory utorial is all that remains. Enjoy!
(TLDR below)
Once upon a time, the great and mighty god Phkhjordr got bored. He wandered: "what would happen if I descend into the grey dimension, and plant that Tree of Life sapling I got lying around?" Oh he did not know what a chore it would be.
So there he was, moving around (with WASD) the grey dimension, trying to collect more red matter-shards (which could be collected by smashing them with his mighty ~~hammer~~ SPACEBAR), all that because he could not grow the sapling without his faithful helpers - the dwarves. The Dwarves, as it happens, in their infinite practicality, would only work at Forges, built with matter-shards on the lava rifts scattered around. This was all necessary, you see, because it was only the dwarf craftsman that could forge the valued time-shards into what was required to feed the Tree - the precious seconds (ten of them, actually)
He went around, collecting shards and building forges, summoning time containing meteorites (with F), so that he would have enough seconds to perform the sacred ritual of feeding, battling monsters for matter-shards and HOPING, that the time he gave was useful to the beings that called the mid-world their home.

TLDR (some spoilers):
- The tree needs rituals performed, with 10 seconds each.
- Dwarves can forge you seconds at the forge which is built on lava rifts for 10 red shards each.
- You have to give them blue shards for that.
- Beware of the monsters who roam around and hunt for timeshards, but if you manage to kill some, they do regurgitate red shards.
Interact with everything with SPACEBAR, and press F to summon a meteor with timeshards. (you have to have at least one forge for that)
Perform the ritual and witness history unfold before your eyes.
- Grow the tree enough and you may yet see how it all plays out.

Authors notes:
Ok, people, the trope "oh, i'll do a small relaxing session, make a small game to focus on juice and SFX" DOESNT WORK.
A lot of sound was foley'd, but none integrated (I even wasted time trying to make a music track with a quasi-hurdyGurdy). Tutorial suffered the same fate. Real life really sucks with it's shennanigans sometimes.
Disregard the FMOD logo, the game has the lib so I have to put it there. Love you all, looking forward to playing a ton of awesome. Thx for dropping by!
~~WEBGL build coming SOON~~ WEBGL is up, pending testing)
Fixes:
- error where timeshards did not dissapear.
- Small error in UI causing confusion.
- Also an effect shader was so broken i removed it completely. Worms still do slow down time around themselves.
- Minor bug fixes and a little balance change

There is a bug with forge - you can put unlimited amount of shards to it, without decrease counter.
And i love the pixelart
I met some bugs. Some blue shards were uninteractable - impossible to destroy, even with my mighty spacebar, and the worms didn't want to eat them either. Maybe they were spoiled. Hitboxes on the shards (or the hurtbox on the hammer) could use some improvement overall. I also broke a forge  - I pilled so many worm bodies and red shards there that the dwarf became impossible to interact with (he was probably suffocation under all the dead worm parts) and I could not give him anything anymore.

Also: Все буде Україна!
Where do I start.
First of all, I would really suggest making auto-pickup for orbs, for such harvesting game it's better to make it less monotonous as possible. I was smashing mine as psychopath :D
Spacebar for killing is ok.
I really liked the concept of killing - gathering - upgrading. A bit more variety to the environment (grass, trees) gonna be a huge plus to immersion.
Dwarves are cool, I saw one of the was drinking beer.
Overall sprites and animations are great

I would also suggest tweaking meteorite spread since a lot of them were falling outside the screen and worms get there quicker in most cases.
Sometimes camera was tricky, so perhaps autofollowing might improve the experience too.

Worms killing was quite satisfying. Detachable limbs are done really great.
You might notice total bloodshed in the middle of the map on my screenshots.
Also, I dont know how exactly sprites priority was done, but I had a case where I couldn't handover blue orbs to dwarf due to worm corpses spereaded around.

Comparing the income of blue orbs and available lava pits, I really used only 2 of them. I spent more time gathering them than actual producing.

Overall, quite an interesting game with potential.
Good luck with further development if you decide to do a post-jam version.
ps. looks like the attachments are broken. I re-uploaded screenshots here

One note, I really missed some kind of an indicator where the ritual site is, easy to get lost.
