We Stole Aliens by grizeldi

We Stole Aliens is a driving game, where you just stole a flying saucer from the Area LD-51 and packed it on the back of your pickup truck. Of course that didn't go unnoticed and the police is right behind you. Try to escape in the bad weather conditions with broken wipers, cleaning your windshield only every 10 seconds!

How to Play

Minimum Requirements
The project was built using Godot 4.0 beta 2, so there is sadly some engine crashes we cannot fix ourselves, as well as steeper performance requirements than we'd like. Anything with at least 3GB VRAM should run the game fine, but below that, it's a gamble. The lowest spec devices we tested on were a laptop GTX 1650 and a Steam Deck.

Or maybe that was just me falling through the map heh.
Somehow the cops still caught me.
I would love to play but I don't have access to Windows/Linux hardware
When i saw This title i had to play it .
Do agree with @n-feofentov about the straight lane.
Good entery Guys~
Long answer? The lore is very in-depth, the story is filled with drama, horror and funny moments. The gameplay is interactive and quick to learn, the world is immersive. The characters all have their purpose. And the graphics are STUNNING absolutely gorgeous effects! Great game to play with the family. It's even been added to family game night on Friday nights where we all try to beat each other's top scores :) Can't wait for some DLC, maybe a winter map? Or better yet a Sequel in the future! Best Wishes Kashi
spawning in front of me
And I dont really understand why you chose to use and unstable engine to be honest, where there features that only existed on that version of Godot? That probably took part of the fun out cause it was slow to load in order to be enjoyable to see the initial cutscene...
Also the link with the theme was not very clear to me at least...
I think that so long as you focus on game development over excuses, something not everyone can do, you're a promising team of developers. This game definitely has potential as more than an LD game, because it doesn't do well as one. It needs these crucial details sorted out, your engine difficulties the same, and you could have something worth buying.
Regardless, game was very fun! Great job friend :)
The car steering felt really good. A couple of LDs ago I also used a car in Godot and I didn't manage to get it feel nice to drive. But you did. Very nice.
The only thing that felt off was to know when you will get caught. I had no idea when the police was close or not. Or even where they were. Maybe a little indicator that points to were the police is an how much meters they are away would have solved that issue. (Just an idea though).
Overall, nice submission - keep it up.
I also agree with what Douwe-ravers said about potentially indicating to the player when they're close to getting caught. Maybe change in music or lighting, if you don't want to give away exact distance.
Awesome entry, great job guys!
