SuperLazerAIGreenAliens TD by rEaX
The most amazing super lazer explosion tower defence you will ever experience.
By the way, SuperLazerAIGreenAliensTD is the best name ever. Period.
We created all assets ourselves except the audio and ground texture. We have therefore opted out of the audio category.
* How to play *
Simply click a blue platform to build a tower.
Click an existing tower to upgrade it.
There is one infinite level.
Only one enemy type. We planned to have flying enemies etc but not enough time.
Enemy waves spawn every 10 seconds and they grow stronger and more over time.
The goal is to survive as long as possible.

* Important Tip * You have to be strategic about how you build to survive the first wave.
Quickly build one tower near the large rocks in the center. It will get the first tower some time to shoot down one enemy, which is enough to get to 100 credits. Then build a second tower to finish off the first wave near the goal.
That will get the cash flow going.

Once I was able to build more, the game become super easy as the money you get is quite high.
The more expensive towers didn't really seem worth it for their price as the basic 100 towers were doing just fine even after ~10 mins of playing.
Overall, reasonably fun tower defence. Just requires some tweaking to balance
@william-baker Thanks! Yup turns out balancing a TD is really hard.
But the game is quite bug free, well rounded that's always a good thing !
Few improvements I would suggest are:
- Some short description for each turret. Till now, I have no idea what the blue turret is supposed to do - it seemed to me like it did nothing but throw harmless blue balls
- Ability to build a new turret on a spot that is already taken.
- Some visual changes to the turrets when they are upgraded (but that's really polish that nobody has time for in jam time - I know :))
- Most importantly - some kind of indication of how long I held out. When the game ends, there is just "Game over" and nothing else. For an endless game that you are supposed to hold out in for as long as you can, this felt very disappointing. Some kind of score (like waves survived, enemies killed, or just time survived) would be great and would give some incentive to try again to do better.
Overall, it was a fun experience. Here is my turret setup at the end:

Starting with only 150 points was rough, if you don't build your only turret in the right place it cant kill anything to get more points.
A wave counter would have been useful to know how far you managed to get, also I would have liked to be able to destroy turrets to build something else in that spot.
