Really cool puzzle mechanic that feels utterly terrifying as the timer counts down
i like the perspective and the choice of colors. it was reduced to the essentials, otherwise you would need too much time to search the levels
theme is very well implemented
The gameplay is quite fun, but I feel like there is way too much trialand error. How are we suppose to know how long eevery action swill takes ? And how do we know that climbing up the stairs takes 2s (or more...) without dying first ? That kind of removed the fun of the game for me.
The concept is great, good idea !
A background music could have really enhance the modd of the gamer, but I understand that with the jam constraint it is really hard...
I do wish the UI was a lot better. There were times where I felt like my mouse clicks were being ignored, and sometimes the indicator of what can be clicked FEELS finicky.
I like the idea of mapping out a route through repetition a few of the people I played it with thought it would be better to have some random elements to it. We also noticed there is zero leeway for the timer, I think adding just a few ms of leeway would go a long way to make it feel better to play.
of course not having that leeway gives a bit of a sense of the dread and hopelessness you might actually feel in this situation so if that was intended congratulations!
Game design is cool, reminds me of mirrors edge smh
I really think that this one is pretty promising as a prototype. Maybe not exactly 10 seconds cap, but overall it might work pretty well. I didn't get why you did use Midjourney to generate art (worth to try probably?) but the game mechanic itself is pretty catchy. Nice one!
