GRABOUL by mattguil
First Game Jam for us. It was a total mess. This was supposed to be a party game. It is... in a certain way... Not a party game, definitely.
BUT we had fun and if you have any feedback to give us, make yourself at home :)
Good game, good fun!
PS: Menu uses a mouse.
PSS: Victor Brunelle is the GOAT, thank you! Your music is just dope!

The concept is great and could benefits from having some goals on the level to force the player to move, like coins to grab or something'
Great work 👍
The level rotation was really difficult to encounter. I found myself falling to spikes more often during the rotation than getting hit by the bullets. Most of the bullets could be safe-spotted since the patterns didn't really change.
The character controller was solid and responsive, so I probably just had a major skill issue with the gravity part :D
Character controls could be improved a bit. Try increasing the acceleration.
The jumping resets the character's horizontal speed, not sure if that's intentional.
Also, sometimes if you're near a wall when the gravity changes you can clip into it.
The bullets were an addition to make this a little more interesting, but they need some balancing!
Thank you all for your feedback!
The character controller is a bit slippery, for a game like this I would definitely prefer a very tight control of the character, as the challenges are everywhere, but good job overall!
Would be cool for the game to be a little more dynamic, whether that be more complicated shooting patterns, the terrain shifting around or enemies on the levels.
Great stuff.
