Fun puzzle game. I got the average ending. Great job!

Lets just say this game was an experience. From fear to confusion, I was dragged through a slaughter house, and I love it.
Good Job Developer!

I got the worst ending :( 23 cats slaughtered, and lost my arm.

Really nice design. Emulated the escape room experience very well. I never would've thought to make a game like this. Props for good audio and puzzle design. Great entry

@delightfullymad impressive! I named it the average ending but it's actually a pretty good ending in hindsight.

@creepycatdev thank you! That's exactly what I was hoping players would feel when they play this thing lol

@googlypoo you can always try again! Some friends playtested earlier tonight and they all had 60+ cats slaughtered so 23 is not that bad lol

The puzzles semi-randomize each playthrough so even if you know what you have to do, it can still be challenging to get the perfect ending. And who doesn't want the perfect reward that comes with it?

Really awesome game! I don't like cats very much, but seeing them get torn to shreds still made me sad. The game's graphics are simple but they work really well. The puzzles are really clever and fun (Though I think the code is wrong the one with the numbers on post it notes). The audio sounds great and I especially like how if you get far enough away you can't hear the saw anymore. Also, the little bits of text are really funny. Overall, excellent game!

@hawke-games thanks for the feedback! What problems did you have with the post-its? It's a bit too early to go into spoilery stuff, but the code is randomly generated each playthrough and I haven't had any issues with it (except for me being blind even though I placed their potential spawn points myself lol).

During playtests, some of my friends had some creative interpretations of what to do with the numbers before they figured out the actual solution, so maybe your approach is slightly off. Or there really is a bug, lol. Wouldn't surprise me at this point!

@frib
Yeah, you're right. After thinking about it for a second, I realized I was just being stupid Lol. It said something about descending so I thought it meant the physical location of the notes and not their numeric value.

@hawke-games ahh well, if it makes you feel any better, you're not the first to think that. And I actually thought it was quite clever! But it was too late into the compo for me to change it sadly

I'm terrible with anything remotely spooky and this one got me on the edge of my seat a little. Love the music and the atmosphere is really cool

Really neat concept! Having to juggle solving the puzzles with the 10 second timer really adds a layer of complexity. The game's graphics are simple but combine with the audio to set the mood really well.

I was ready to just peek in and suddenly I'm lost in the vibe of the music and atmosphere. Absolutely loved this, and never got stuck on the security code puzzles long, just enough hints in there. Really loved this, fantastic job and....who needs their hand anyway?

@vhalenn don't worry, it happens fast so they don't feel a thing. Well, I think they don't...

@rickylee good job! Glad you enjoyed it! The secret ending was something I added in the last 10 minutes of the compo and I'm glad someone got to admire it haha

@xorel, @ex3d0 and @jacob-diaz thanks for playing and I'm glad you all enjoyed it!

Best machine-that-drops-cats-onto-a-sawblade-every-ten-seconds themed game I've seen so far this jam! I'll be totally honest: I was so engrossed by the puzzles that I kind of tuned out the cat slaughterhouse bit and stopped trying to find a circle every ten seconds. I lost north of 40 cats by the end. (And my arm.)

You don't like cats, don't you. I tried the helping hand... it's like, there is no right decision :D good job!

That game is dark, very dark. Poor cats. Nevertheless pretty impressive entry graphic-wise. :)

That was stressful. Couldn't understand how to save the cats at first, but after a few tries managed to get the perfect ending. Rip my early kitties

I tip my hat to a fellow digital kitty killer. Got the selfish ending, and in hindsight I could've definitely let more cats get slaughtered. :)
