:control_knobs: Controls

Most controls are obvious, but the final battle could need some instruction: - Use [Left, Right, Up, Down] on the keyboard or the D-Pad on the controller to change your selected hero. - Press [Space] on the keyboard or the (A) button on the controller to toggle helpers active or inactive or to switch attack type (melee, ranged) when Alex is selected. - Press [Enter] on the keyboard or the (Start) button on the controller to submit your turn.

Nice game.
Tbh I didn't read everything, it was a quite large amount of text, but for what I have seen I liked the game :)

Love the characters, I thought it was a fun little adventure! Would definitely have loved a bit more pizazz on the graphics side, even if the pizzazz was all put into that last fight! I gotta try it with the ninjas at some point...

Hey, I enjoyed playing this on stream! Here's the VOD in case you want to share with your team before twitch takes it down in a week or two: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1609951820?t=00h43m20s

I had so much fun getting to read all the dialogue out loud that I had to rush through the end to get to the boss. Loved some of the character names and unique situations, it made me smile. It was quite the surprise to see the **SPOILER** added in at the end after only thinking this was a choice-driven visual novel. Great job!!

It's a nice change of pace to a story-driven game in a jam. I wasn't quite sure how to use my supporting characters during the final fight, so I lost, but overall, very cool experience.

Very well done on the music, it was very epic. Text-based adventures usually aren't my jam but I enjoyed the what I did play up until I died :(

I'll probably give it another go soon. Good job!

Great audio, musics give a great "rpg fantasy" vibes ! Nice visual novel /rpg game:)

Great story (and good bits of humor), love the music too - fits very well. Tried to figure out how to use my companions to fight in the end, and while I was able to sort of "select" them/highlight them with a red square, I wasn't able to make them do anything, so ig I lost - otherwise very good/solid!

A few things I'd point are:

- I think either there should be more illustrations during the story, or none, for consistency
- I think [enter] while the text is being written on screen should first skip to the end of the current page, instead of skipping to the beginning of the next page (I wanted to read it faster and ended up missing a couple of pages)

But nice entry, I liked how the decisions affect who will help you in the end (and how the first scene hids who was with Alex at the final battle)

Wasn't a big fun of the execution, but definitely an interesting idea. Something about the way the text was presented, and maybe even written, felt kinda unwelcoming and hard to get into (maybe its the font? not sure honestly. Probably more than that)

You've managed to put a quite considerable amound of content into the game. The music sounded good. I think you could benefit more from your own characters instead of borrowing from pop-culture. Other than that, I think you could have skipped the battle mechanic and replace it with more refinement elsewhere. I am also curious what the time relics were supposed to do.
