Tiny Tiny Orbit is a tiny survival game, in which you inhabit a quickly orbiting moon of an unknown planet.

The day and night both last only 10 seconds due to the celestial body's unnaturally fast rotation.

Your mission here is to extract Platinum from the moon's crust. But beware! A dangerous nocturnal lifeform has been detected on the moon... Might not want to stay in the dark too long.

WASD to move

Arrow Keys to switch modes

Very cute graphics and nice implementation of a crafting system. I like the idea of a day night cycle for the theme. Well done!

Awesome game! The art styles looks super good and the light effect. The controls, combining things, is a bit finicky, but based that great job with the game!

I loved this! I think having the quests really helped, I was a little overwhelmed and confused by the controls at first (took me a few "days" to figure out I had to arrow over to build my furnace since I just kept trying to add ores to smelt). Maybe just an additional quest or two, like "build furnace" and "power dill" would have helped. But even without these I loved this. Even little things like the pixel wind and the occasional respawn of materials made it feel like a complete first chapter of a bigger game. Great Job!

Very nice! The gameplay, art, and sound compliment each other very well, and it feels very cohesive. The control scheme feels a bit spread, requiring the use of both WASD and Arrow keys, and then control to interact is a bit much. Maybe using ctrl to cycle through the different options would feel better? Overall, this is a phenomenal game so far, and I could this turning into a bigger game I would pick up.

The menu buttons don't work :(( The graphics look great and the gameplay feels like something I'd really enjoy. Idk why it won't start tho.

@valyn-tyler up and down arrows scroll through them, you select with control. I know it's a bit unusual but it's in line with the rest of the game's controls

The day/night cycle indicator is amazing, I'm so impressed :) I really enjoyed crafting everything, this was such a relaxing game doing most of my exploring during the day, thank you!!

Incredible game!! Looks amazing, and the mechanics are super interesting.

Only thing I would change would be instead of cycling through the different options I would have a button for each option instead. But I do really like the one button style. Even though it takes a while to get used to. You could even combine some of the controls into one, for example if you want to move an object you hold the button for a short while, and it gets picked up.

Anyways you did an incredible job and this is definitely the best game I've played so far in this jam!!!

So far the longest I stayed playing a game. Once I got the hang of the controls and UI, it started to be a lot of fun. The whole game feel swell polished with nice and fun progression.

Very nice artwork and animations on this one. Feels juicy. Solid idea for the theme and great execution and gameplay. The light effect around your base is super nice too!

I'm very surprised that not many people evaluated the project. It's on-topic, coupled with interesting gameplay and sound. Feels like a cool mix of Minit, Forager, and Factorio. If you forget that this project was done in 72 hours and treat it as a complete project, the manual lacks a text description at each icon. The work and distribution of light is worth noting separately, very cool behaves when the character is on the border of light and darkness, as if the light sticks to the player and does not want to let the player into the dangerous darkness. A lot of interesting little game design solutions, like assembling items on the ground in one place and adding colliders to resources. The second part of the previous sentence adds additional challenges, such as storing resources in the right places so that they don't get combined into new items, while placing them correctly so as not to create mazes that will lengthen the routes to the objectives. Translated through a translator due to poor English and I hope I was able to convey the idea that your project is very cool. I would not be at all surprised if after a while I see a refined and in-depth project on Steam or other platforms. Great job! You are good! Good luck!

You have some very high production values here, from the amazing pixel art to the dynamic soundtrack to the comprehensive crafting system that seems like it would be quite a feat to program in 72 hours. However, I just could not wrap my head around the controls. I get that you're doing a single-button control scheme, but it just feels awkward for me to move with one hand and perform the primary input with the exact same hand. And while it does fit the 10 second theme well, I kept on accidentally picking up the light bulb and struggled through 2-3 lives trying to find which option let me install it again.

Incredible cute little base builder. Great job and one of the best games I played so far. And the lighting, I gotta figure out how that is done because it looks amazing.

Probably the only feedback I might have is possible not have resources spawn on top of each other.

I kept auto crafting things I don't want when I try to group resources together. But other than that, this entry is literally perfect.

Fantastic game! Really like the amount of polish, and the graphics and audio are great! One minor note on the audio portion: I think the footstep sound would be better if it was a little more bass-y because it sounds very similar to the sound for like harvesting stone/ore. There were instances where the object that got interacted with was not exactly the one I wanted, so it might be good to prioritize the highest value target (like the one most closely related to the current quest) when picking which object should be interacted with (if that makes sense). I liked how you integrated the theme in with the gameplay, though 10 seconds felt sooo short here! I also couldn't figure out exactly how to wire up parts of the base like in the one screenshot so I could expand my base that way. Overall though really great job!!

Also, the Windows version runs great for me in Linux!

The graphics are especially cool, and the gameplay works well, but with some defaults.

It's difficult to understand at the beginning. I thought the solar thing was a craft table. I didn't understand the other thing was a battery. After, it's evident, but for my experience, I had difficulties.

The 10s are very short. Yes, it's the theme, but it is still a little frustrating. The lights can help it, but they use maybe too much energy.

Sometimes I created things I didn't want to. I put a lot of things behing the furnace, and I really often replace buildings and couldn't replace it because there was a thing under. the other "defaults" below were not very important, but this one really annoyed me. An other key, only for that action, would be welcome.

But it works ! I played until the end, and even if I was very long, I gladly continued.

Nice one for the Free Game where you can start with different bases !

Very good job. ;)

Great game! Was a little confused at the beginning about how to play, but figured it out eventually  Did make a video playing: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yg1n6x11brQ

Came back off camera, because it was fun, and won
