C'est la fête! by Scratch
What a nice day to organise a small Halloween party, meet with friends and eat pizzas! Except the whole neighborood heard about it and decided to join in... You will have to be the best host possible, making sure everyone has plenty of food, repairing the mess they made, and keeping the metalhead away from the hi-fi. You'll have a new guest coming every 10 seconds!
Walk with WASD, and interact with space. There is a small tutorial at the beginning of the game to explain everything but basically :
You need to get the highest score possible (S)
Open the door to your new guests before they leave!
Keep the food table full (it's at the bottom of the house). When it's empty, you'll have to get food from the fridge by interacting with it, then bring it to the table and interect with the table.

- Clean up the mess they make by interacting with it

If the trumpetist start "playing", interact with them to tell them to shut up! Or maybe find them another friend to play music together!
If the metalhead blast some black metal, interact with the hi-fi to play something a bit more to every one's taste
(updated version)
Characters finally have pop up showing their needs, and what they are currently liking or disliking.

When a character is sick, interact with them and bring them to the bathroom

Your score is now visible at the top right of the screen

Collect trophies!
This game was surprinsingly A LOT of work, especially with randomly generating characters. Andzura and Heo still managed to make it work, so the characters you'll see are generated just for you! We are really proud of our musics, as Scratch tried a lot of different styles, using both FLstudio and real life instruments such as guitars and trumpet. As for Saltysa, they made over 470 drawings just for the characters so they really hope you'll find them cute.

(we also have a cute house!)

The game isn't as polished as we would like it to be, but it's still something we poured a lot of time and effort.
Update list - Added WebGL build - Fixed issue where end didn't triggered correctly - Added HUD elements for achievements & others (Pop-Ups) - Switched to a more readable font - Light rebalancing
It's a pretty "large" update, and although we feel that it's still following the rules (as we didn't add new feature in the game), we understand that this is up for debate and we'll be happy to discuss it with you  For reference, you can still find the older version of the game here.
NEW VERSION name is : cestlafete-final.zip (it's the last on the list)
OLD VERSIONS : clafetewinupdate1.zip, clafete.zip and clafete-win-hotfix1.zip

- The font is a bit too difficult to read.
- No button feedback on start menu
- That one really loud song is a bit too loud!
- No win/loss condition (?) Maybe I made a mistake or misunderstood something, but I just kept going until I had like 40 guests but the game never ended. A simple timer would help so much. "Keep the party alive until 3am" makes the game so much more fun to play because you have a specific goal.
- No way to quit... For some reason a lot of people forget this, but a simple pause menu with a quit and continue button helps a lot. You don't want the player's last experience with your game to be frustration because they have to alt + f4 to quit the game.
@jekyllina There is a new guest every 10 seconds, we should have communicated this more
@luckyfeathers Thanks for your great feedback! We'll fix the win/loss conditions soon, they are there but whether it's a bug or a balancing issue it seems they don't trigger...
@Lepletier We're glad you liked the music! It was really fun to make
@whitenoize It was A LOT honestly I never thought I'll be able to make it
@vivat-vector Thank you for playing! Sadly we didn't have the time to implement the differents endings, but we're hoping to do it soon
@skel3ton Thank you for your feedback! We added more informations on the game page!
@Creepycatdev We added some explainations on the game page. We're also hoping to implement some hud to better explain what to do in-game. I hope you'll try again and have fun once it's done
@numb Thank you for playing! We'll probably change the font for a more readable one soon
As far as the trophies go, I wish it told you what they were for AFTER you got them, because it doesn't tell you WHEN you get them. I also kinda wish the left your own party one didn't kick you out. I came right back I swear, nobody was here yet!
Definitely has Sims feeling!
At some point all the guests have piled up in the top left corner next to the kitchen. Does this have any particular reason?
@papabirb great feedback, thank you for your advices! With a game like this we would have needed more time to balance it properly, some events are over-punitive and some others are kinda cheating if you got them ^^
@yoko-san well done! For the piling-up, maybe they were surrounding a musician (trumpetist or, since you got s-rank, more probably the guitarist) (or could be a bug to be honest  )
It was fun even if some element are quite are to understand, I had a sweet moment!
