The Lamplighter by SelkieHarbour
After a fierce blizzard snuffed out all the lights on the path between two towns, the Lamplighter must travel through the snowy forest to relight all the lanterns and protect the towns. Use your torch to light the way and keep yourself safe. Be careful to stay on your guard though, tales have been told about creatures lurking in the shadows after dark...

Good game !
I had a slight difficulty understanding how to light the lamps so I skipped the first few and then got stuck in a long path, which seemed nearly impossible to cross with light. I'd say outlining the charge wheel would make it a lot more visible against the snow.
Nice entry!
Very cool game idea! We also made a game that experiments with light every 10 seconds, we'd love for you to check it out! https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/51/stormlight-manor
Even without music there's a good feel to it with the environment sounds. Pretty simple overall but executed well!
The atmosphere was perfect, the lack of horrific monsters in the horror element allowed for the quiet storm feeling instead of the oh my god why did I play this feeling.
I don't really have any feedback to give to improve, to be honest.
I just want more.
Please let me know if you do develop this game further.
If I had to ask for one thing, it would only be to be able to hold the torch crank button down, not only repeatedly press it
Feedbacks :
- colorblind mode isn't really good (but hopefully we don't need it for the game)
- no sounds on my computer (I saw an AMD warning)
- too much text on main screen
The Art is also really sweet ! Not gonna lie, I'm a sucker for snowy environments...
The light going off every 10 seconds is a cool idea, and adds to the overall feeling of the game !
This being said, the QWERTY controls made it a bit challenging for me, as I'm using an AZERTY keyboard...
Anyways, great game ! You did a nice job~
@lejocarry I'm curious about the colorblind mode. I'm not color blind and we implemented the colorblind features that the engine has, which I thought were the standard. Could you point me in the right direction to know what's wrong about it?
Graphics and sound are really good and I like the mechanic !
Great job, it was atmospheric and fun) And quite challenging at one point, thankfully you add saving mechanics
At the point on a screenshot i was on edge to surrender))
