The game looks great and the idea is really fun. But sadly the inverted up/down mouse movement, made game too difficult for me.

@jk5000 Thanks for playing! Sorry for inverted mouse, I forgot to change it back before build :face_palm: I pushed new build where invert and sensitivity can be changed so hopefully it'll be playable for others now :smile:

That was super funny! I glitched myself through the windows, because I didn't find the button to open the red door. I also walked on the roof, through the garden and even out of the boundaries of existance. In the end I fixed the teleporter. A nice expierience. Five stars.

I have tried it again and I will say it is an interesting little game. The 10 second rule was a bit annoying for this game, but I do understand the idea. I was sadly never able to get to the end, and I ended up trapped in an office. Overall a good jam game.

Cool idea and very nice graphics! I couldn't find the button to open the blast doors, so I didn't get very far though.

Nifty idea with a good twist on the 10 seconds theme. Controls and graphics are good. Good job.

Very nice game, love the puzzle elements. I had a little difficulty with movement, although that might just have been my browser. I like the time element that makes you have to plan your actions almost like a turn based game. Its very well executed :)

Just wanted to say, I think this is the best game I've played so far. Good job, for real. Could've added some narration on the background like in Stanley parable or something, that would make the returning less annoying.

great take on the theme. I got out of the building, not sure I was supposed to do that lol

Took me 46 loops but i managed to fix the damn teleporter. :D
Movement turned out very nice and there is surprisingly little clipping through stuff with things you're carrying.
Looks very nice for the time it was made in. Great effort. Keep it up.

I had fun playing this! My favorite part of using the teleporter was the part where I had to use it to get myself to the button, I also managed to clip out of the building with it. I'm not exactly sure how the disk is supposed to be obtained since the door of the room it in was locked for me, so I just went in through clipping and got to beat the game. Overall I think the concept of the game teleporting you back to the teleporter every 10 seconds was well executed! great job!

Very good for the amount time! I'm impressed. Pretty fun, though I wish that the teleport lost the black screen. Additionally, the early stages are a little unintuitive, though maybe that was the goal. Interesting puzzle solutions, though the interaction hints could use some work in some places.

Nice idea. I also went out the window and over the roof looking to the way to progress.
I did manage to fix the teleporter eventually though.

Great idea! It took me a while to figure out that i can pick the teleporter up :spy:

Very cool game! The mechanic got me quickly hooked and i got some portal vibes :)

@mathead once I figured out, that the teleporter can help you to get some vertical distance as well, it opened new possibilities :)

Looking forward to your future creations, keep jamming :)

took me 49 loops. Really inventive and smart puzzle idea

Were you supposed to use the teleporter to go outside the window and then back in to another window? It felt like i was just glitching through the glass.

It was a short and enjoyable game. The idea for the game was executed well. I didn't manage solve the disc puzzle - had to exploit the fact that collisions were not set to continous (glitched the teleporter). Thanks to that hough, I could explore the outside : ) Overall I think the theme detracted a bit from the game because being reset got annoying quickly. Too bad there was no real programming, I got my hopes up.

I quite enjoyed this one! I really thought the game opened up to a lot of potential once you were able to pick up and move the teleporter to different places.

I do wish there was a *bit* more visual feedback in terms of what is interactable and what isn't, as well as some audio feedback for when you successfully "used" something on something else, but I imagine you likely didn't have time for that in a jam time crunch. :sweat_smile:

Regardless, I found a lot of these puzzles to be pretty clever, and I can imagine a full game where that takes advantage of a lot of the things you've set up here, so well done!

Great game! It's a very smart idea carrying the teleporter around and use it as the key item for resolving puzzles. A great catch on the themes of both this jam and your game! I also appreciate that you provide the settings of mouse sensitivity, which is the first game doing so among all the games I've been played.

Wow, thanks everyone for playing and for the great comments. I really appreciate it. :slight_smile:

@chillertyp @dimaswift @megafuze @someone @cheeks
There is no need to clip through things or go outside. Although I didn't look to fix the clipping so I suppose it is now part of the game mechanics.. At one point looking through the window might give some idea how to progress though :smile:

@xsangyhix
Thanks for for the tip, I'll probably make post jam version which has collisions fixed for more difficulty :slight_smile:

@xk-the-name
Commentary similar to Stanley Parable or Portal would be a really good idea.

@coleslaughter @crwohlers
Thanks for comments, providing more feedback and cues to the player would certainly make the game more enjoyable.

Really great idea. Gives Portal vibes. Only not "thinking with portals", but "thinking with that beeping hunk of metal that I need to carry around" :smiley:

Managed to complete in 44 loops. Was stuck a bit because last two steps for some reason won't give hints or any notification about completion (as it were before). Also, were you really able to fix code in single press of a button? :laughing: At least add a progressbar to smash that E until you type in your fix.

@t90 Thanks for playing! Smashing e to fill a progressbar would have been cool! I need to put that on the todo list.

It'd be nice to have some hints - I got stuck trying to use some kind of object on the teleporter? I couldn't find anything else to interact with.
