General

A farm management. No win conditions. If all your animals die you lose! The Selection Phase is '10 seconds long!' - which was our inclusion of the theme!

Instructions:

Selection Phase - Click on animals, and then Click on a building/truck:

Feed - Left Building - increases health. Green Bar. Use early.

Breed - Middle Building - creates offspring, when Red Bar is high

Produce - Right Building - creates produce (i.e. eggs), use when Blue Bar is high

Sell - Right Truck - sells the animal; use when health (Green Bar) is high

Outcome Phase - See the outcomes of your efforts

Gold Adjustments - will go up if you made produce or sold animals

Health/Breed/Produce Bars - may go up or down

Event Phase - External events occur that impact gameplay that round

[Not Implemented] - eventually will impact sales/health/produce, etc.

Upgrade Phase - Random upgrades, various prices, impact gameplay that round

[Not Implemented] - eventually will impact sales/health/produce, etc.

Post-Mortem (things we were stoked on)

Building a 3d game - most of our work has been in 2d

World Space UI - Health Bars, Billboard UI, etc.

Scriptable Objects - making event creation super slick

Navmesh Agents - easy-mode AI

Highlighting 3D Characters - using multiple mesh/materials

Collaborating - using git, brainstorming, etc.

Balance - hanging out, coding, but still going out for food, walks, etc.

Building Skills - utilizing some core skills, but overall learning some new things!

Nice idea! Gameplay seems incomplete though, and for me some UI elements are way to large and off-screen.

Nice idea, a bit sad that the unfinished phases makes you lose 20 seconds waiting (may have been skipped) but the game is very cute

I love farm games. But why animals move and jump so much? If you go even further with this behavior, you will get first-person shooter game, lol.

Really loved the low poly art and the animations on the animals. It really brought the whole mood of the game together.

Love the background and the animations on the animals are very squishy and nice. I don't know if I ran into a glitch but when I fed the animals they seem to gain little health. Overall fun idea just needs some tweaks on the numbers, the art and animation where all well put together. Great Job!

Nice work! I like the animation of the animals, including the way that they all hop around. I also liked the laid-back style and low-poly art.

Nice little game! Loved the graphics, I think the rapid jumping added to the hectic atmosphere.

No one has mentioned it yet but I apologize for the atrocious spelling. Yes English is our first language... maybe it shouldn't be

I really like the art style, especially the animal animations. It gives the game a light and fun feeling. However, for me, it lacks a progression path, for example a goal to achieve or things to unlock.

Nice 3D art and love the daily news having an influence every round. Sometimes it felt a little bit slow, where I was just waiting for 10 seconds till the animals were all done doing their thing.

So many systems in such a short amount of time! Was a little confused but enjoyed playing :)

Great idea to try and boil a farming genre into a 10 second loop! I found it a bit hard to follow the results of my actions each round but had fun putting on my virtual farmer hat!

Don't know how to play at my first playthrough but figured it out later. Really nice game, and I like the newspaper telling you the information that makes each turn different.

Nicely Done Bro. really nice concept and use of the 10 second theme. Would love to see this game developed further and released in a larger scale. Please do check out my submission as well.

Interesting concept and well executed. If I had to criticise I would say the user interface is a bit difficult to read / see. I would also recommend ending the timer if you selected all animals to not have idle time as you quickly learn to select them way faster than the ten seconds in the beginning. Other than that it is a solid jam submission. Good work!
