It would be even better with more cards like the heal to make it less RNG based !
Good job
Well done !
I played it for a bit until I got a good run, idk if this is the best score, but I did get to the "boss" character.

I love the graphics and music though! I can tell a lot of though has put into that. Well done!
However I could use the upgrades multiple time and thus had an overpowered team really quickly. Is that normal?
I liked your graphism, especially the evolution over the top of the character! It reminded me of the kind of thing you see in fake mobile game ads (in a good way ). Or an old card game that I forgot the name... Anyway that is great!
The gameplay do feel utterly random however. It would have been nice to have some kind of choice or more control over the upgrades. Maybe by letting you chose between multiple possible upgrades every ten seconds or something similar.
I think the game is a bit too luck-based at the moment, making the difficulty quite high and outside the control of the player. Although, it was fun to discover ways to squeeze value out of my cards, such as waiting to heal or level up at the lowest possible health level.
Also, I think giving players only one new card per 10 seconds is too slow, since I found myself doing a lot of watching and waiting, sometimes helplessly as my units die. Maybe there are some rare ways to get extra cards, such as defeating the extra-strong boss enemies?
I like the auto-battle mechanic, but I wish there was more to do while waiting for the 10-second timer, since right now it feels a little dependent on the randomness of which card you get.
Would love to see a more complete version of this post-jam featuring music and gameplay tweaks, I think there's a lot of potential to this.
I believe it has potentials but it needs more adaptation on the game balance. Getting two cards would be a great start, even if you can only play one of them, for example.
Keep up the good work
Art, animations, upgrades are superb.
