Paper Summoner by Narudgi
The tower of the hourglass has been taken over by evil forces!
Fight your enemies with you magic spells, keep the rhythm and don't forget to dodge their attacks when 10 seconds have passed!
Your summoned spirits can protect you, but they aren't undefeatable, once they are K.O. you wont even be able to attack your foes.
Learn new summoning spell by levelling up and go as far as you can through the portals if you dare!

The game, character design and animations are beautiful.
The battle system is actually really fun and engaging, I like the combination of turn-based + bullet hell + shmup + DDR. You're mixing and matching a lot of mechanics at once but it all works together really well.
The sound design is really good also. And I really liked the battle theme, it's well composed and catchy. I do think it would sound even more amazing if you got your hands on better sounding samples, even a decent soundfont would do.
I would encourage you to turn this into a full game, or at leash a post jam version.
Edit: something id love to see is more spell variety and ability, I got through 6 levels of the game using only the highest level damage spell I had unlocked, it be nice to see different attacks (maybe with different damage types) with varying speeds, timers, projectiles, and damage. also an upgrade system for each spell would be cool

I couldn't get any HTML5 games to work properly on my computer for some reason. This game was so laggy that it was unplayable.
Now I got to another computer to try it and it worked perfectly and I'm sad I couldn't review it when there was still time to do it. I recommend to make a downloadable build too next time if possible.
I played couple of runs through some levels before stopping. Got attack 3.
Anyways, I liked the mechanics where you gather firepower and then get to play with it. It was satisfying to get 4 better attack kitties in same phase. Graphics were also very nice :). The game would have benefitted from different kinds of attacks, maybe one kittie would freeze the enemy and another do massive damage on frozen enemy etc. so you could combo through the tougher enemies.
Was there possibility to win or was the game endless?
