As a fan of card games, it reminds me a lot of fast paced Reign! Unique take on the theme, which I enjoyed. Love cards that have interesting strategy and tradeoffs such as soldiers (deal direct dmg or invest in long term catapults), but some other choices weren't as clear to me (e.g. engineer for blocking dmg vs gaining armor?) I could see this being fleshed out into a full version and I would buy it :) Also those are punny lore names haha

Nice entry with solid and well-polished gameplay, which shows great potential to be developed into a full game.

It might be better if there is a way to preview the deck since the combat is kinda fast paced. I have to play the game for times in order to find a good strategy. Nice job after all!

Very cool idea! I especially like that even the menus are controlled in the same way as the gameplay. I kind of long for a detailed tutorial, I never fully understood what adding or drawing cards meant. I think there's probably an optimal strategy in there but the game was short enough that it didn't affect me. Very cool and very tense.

Not really familiar with tha card game genre and frankly a little bit confused about the value of the choices I was making but had fun and beat it anyway. Replayed a second time to ty and understand it better. The swipe to the right seems a bit finnicky and the position my mouse has to be in, so that in my first playthrough When i tried to swipe right an it didn't work I assumed that for whatever reason it was not allowed on that card, the highlight in red also made me think "maybe i'm not allwed to do that". I would have liked to have seen more of the strategy aspect, like maybe a couple of levels of enemies of increasing difficulty So I would have to learn an optimal strategy, or maybe playing against a couple of enemies at a time so I have a choice of 3 options instead of 2 so more chance for strategy. The art was cute and the music was suitably tense. Short and sweet, made me want to try more card games. :)

This was a lot of fun! The second time I played, I knocked that overlord out of the world! I felt like all of the card types were unique enough, and I built a really strong strategy. Good use of art. The overall UI design was really clean and clear. Nice job!

Next, you could add multiple stages with different enemies leading up to the shadow overlord. That would give the player a chance to learn the game while fighting "up the ranks".

Really awesome game, the card swipe mechanics is simple and easy to understand, but combined with the Upgrading over time still felt like it had a lot of depth behind it.

Really well done, the game feels very well polished and like a complete small experience. :D

Conceptually this is really awesome and visually it looks great, however mechanically it didn't seem like I was making super interesting choices. Mostly whatever I spammed seemed to always benefit me.

Fun and polished card battler- I think it's very unique gameplay! I found the most valuable card by far was the Fighters.

I'm into card games and this is Very fun and enjoyable, I really like it. Waiting for the card to have a superior effect is also a nice touch, I thought it added some depths. Appreciate that the menus is also part of the swipe mechanics. Visuals and sounds are very polished too. Great game! Amazing work for a solo entry!
