The Last Outpost

You are the watcher, the keeper of the last fire. Your task is quite simple. Survive the cold and keep the flame alive.

But the enemy forces are strong. Waves after waves of powerful forces are crushing against your last barricade. Don’t give in! You are our last hope to prevent the end of civilization and good.

Collect resources to keep the flame alive and build up your outpost. Repair any damage to your fortification.

Keep yourself warm enough to survive the freezing winds of the winter.

Bugfix updates:

1.1: Fixed bug when collecting items from a group when one resource inventory is full, fix full inventory colors, reduce end game time.

The art is really nice ! I had a bit of trouble to play at first but then it went on well ! Nice tutorial too, it's really smooth and helped !

I LOVE IT. The artwork is incredible. The sound fits perfectly. The 10 seconds are not so "in your face" like other games. Original idea. Fun for a few minutes. Maybe an upgrade that makes you faster in the snow could work.

Small info: the menu does not work in full screen. But the game itself does, so that's good!

Fantastic atmosphere with art and sounds! Everything fits together nicely.
My only suggestion would be to add more visual feedback for when the player/fire health is low. For example I missed my fire going out while I was chilling in my camp doing some upgrades.

Clean entry ! The audio is a bit unbalanced with really low bass but I create a cool mood ! The game also create a great sense of urge to get safe and the campfire have a nice comfy atmosphere to it !

Very nice game! This game grabbed our attention because we also made a game about lighting in the snow. The art worked very nice and the menu art is very charming! I felt a bit overwhelmed at first with the time pressure and so many things to do, but it felt right after a short while. I liked that you put the effort explaining how to play at the beginning and that you made the end achievable. Great entry!

I survived \o/ such a cool game ^^ great mood,
I wish it was longer, not a complaint cos its a perfect length for the jam, but if you went ahead and made it bigger Id loove to see it ^^ really well made!

Really nice experience, I survive the night in the third attempt, I was enjoying going into the wild and colelcting resources.

Awesome. Really good graphics and the music that both matches and creates an ominous mood. The whole experience feels polished and complete. I don't have even one complaint. Very nicely done!

Really nice experience. Neat graphics and music. Love how the character has to trudge through the snow. It was a small decision but contributed really well to the overall mood. Agree with others that maybe we could pick up/make speed-ups after several rounds. Also didn't feel threatened to repair my fence. Maybe add sound effects to indicate my fence is compromised? Overall quite a polished game. Good job!!

I liked very much. Very challenging at first, but once you understand what you have to do, it gets easier. A great example of a jam game. Short, polished and with plot. I hate games without a story or with an incomplete story.
