Angel Slayer by Sozey

Miss Fate sent you on a mission to heaven to get rid of three powerful archangels. She promised she'd help you, however she can be a bit... unpredictable.
Every ten seconds, you'll be presented with three cards, and you get to pick one, which will help you defeat the hordes of angels and their masters. The more powerful ones are rarer, but who knows, a pinch of luck might send one your way.
Did I mention the hordes of angels trying to destroy you? Yes? Well they will also get reinforcements every ten seconds, as the doors to your current room open.
Beating an archangel will also get you on Miss Fate's good side, increasing your odds to get better cards. That also tends to put you on God's bad side though, so more angels will spawn, and they'll be stronger too. Nothing you can't handle though, right?

Nice Job :)
As a lot of you said the game can be very easy depending on what cards you get, but we lacked some time to balance it and we were afraid of making it too difficult and hence frustrating
Great graphics, ui and usage of the theme.
A bit too easy and I think you should get some advantages from going into the next room or killing the boss.
As said before we are aware of the balancing issue. You actually get advantages from killing an archangel, you are more likely to get rare or legendary cards :)
I've got some feedback, thought:
- I got the double laser upgrade, because I thought it would be awesome. However, the double diagonal missile made the game so much harder :(
- I had nothing to do in the first few rooms except waiting for the timer.
- After going up in a single direction to explore, a never ending flow of angels would come from one way, and I was litterally stuck in one room, because there would always be ennemies blocking the door.
- The transition when the card choice pops up freeze your inputs first THEN slow the time a bit later, which means there is around half a second where the time is not frozen and you're unable to move each time the card choice opens. I took a lot of damage this way :(
I really struggled to get through the doors though. They are really narrow and because you are floating it is not clear exactly where you are to line up properly, the constant stream of enemies and bullets coming in through the door certainly didn't help. I ended up staying in the first boss room for ages until I had enough health upgrades to be able to tank leaving the room.
I also took damage whenever the cards popped up as the comment above mentions. The pausing to select a card does break the flow of the game.
Also the floating knives didn't really seem to do much.
