The game is beautiful but I had some troubles playing it and I had a bug: I got stuck into a corner and couldn't move nor die. It is sad because the arts and the animations are really nice.

very nice art but i think it could have been made clearer where the light begins.

The concept and graphics are great. But to understand how to play, I needed to die 20 times and then I didn’t fully understand what the point was. Then my game crashed and I had to quit.

Hi nice game, i had the same issue as feynallein, some Arguement outa Range stuff (can send you the crash report if you want)
Talking about which, Is it intended, that the game was build in Dev mode?

But leaving this minor bug behind, your grafic is amazing congrats to your 3 Art designers. And the game was quite Fun. I sometimes has issues hiding under trees where it felt like i should be safe but wasnt but his might just be my extreme genius not being able to fine control the character...

The art is very cool and gave the game a cool mood :) But the game was quite buggy and very hard (in my opinion) the hitbox of the lamps is very wide I did not understand why I was dying so soon D: Also hard to grasp why the shadow power let's you go through lights during the day but not during the night? I did not even make it to the town (maybe i'm just really bad but i did try over 15 times...) I liked the idea though, I wish I could have played more but the game is too hard for me at this state

The art is beautiful, although i had some trouble playing the game. When i first arrived outside, I was stuck and couldnt move while my screen was shaking a lot.

Seriously Beautiful Game. Good use of theme. I always try to give some helpful feedback. I'm not sure if there's audio or if it's bugged for me but it did feel like it really needed some sound. I think the game could benefit from having some checkpoints, I had a hard time making it too very far. It's a little unclear where the hitboxes for the lighting actually is at times.

Seriously solid submission and congrats to your team on finishing the Jam!

Omg this is cool game made for 3 days. Many arts are amazing. I can't imagine how many time you spent on this game, idk. I am just surprised. When I played first time I didn't understand how to pass a level, but than I did it. I believe you can upload this game on itch.io and get some followers for this game. Good Luck!

Interesting concept and nice pixel arts! Maybe it will easier if the duration of Shadow Form is longer, or adding some checkpoints. Nice work! :)

Sorry, I deleted my previous comment, because it was mostly my ragequit impression and not a very constructive feedback.

The graphics is great. Some sound effects would help to make a really unique mood.

The biggest issue is the lack of visual clarity where are the dangerous zones. Even inside the building the light doesn't match perfectly with the zone in which I'm killed and outside is basically impossible to tell where is safe. Make it more clear and it could be a really nice game.

I really love the artwork! Unfortunately, I got stuck in a bug that warped me back to a barn where I'd been previously attacked every time I pressed 'e'. I also found myself wishing that the periods of wait were further apart and shorter. Overall, I really like the concept!

I like the artwork of the game but I have some problems playing it. On one hand it is not clear for me as a player to know where the safe spots or the non safe stops are. Wish that could be more clear. On the other hand I miss sound of some type, music or sfx would be amazing for the game. Keep working hard team!

The game is a little difficult. I found that when grabbing people will squeeze the character to the right for some distance

Agree with others, hard to tell where light sections are/where you are safe. Game also seemed to get stuck for me not super far in, not really sure what bug was but I couldn't get past a ledge near a lamp while the screen shook endlessly. Art though is quite good!

The art/animation was really nice, but I gotta agree with the others the controls/gameplay felt off. Some notes/suggestions:

1. The character moved so quickly, that it was difficult to react to upcoming light. The hitboxes on the light also felt overly large, I think it might be okay to make those smaller than the actual light radius, since a hit means instant death.
2. As far as I could tell, there's no indication of when the shadow form is about to wear off, making it difficult to know when to stop running. Perhaps the player could start to flash when it's about to wear off, or the UI in the bottom corner could fill back up, reaching the top when it runs out?
3. It felt like even after the shadow form meter had fully refilled, I still had to a wait a few extra seconds to use it. Is this a bug?

Definitely a neat idea though, could be fun with a bit more polish.

Looks great, but the hitbox on the light should have been clearer, and I got stuck not far after I exited the castle(?). Beautiful art but could have done with a bit more time set out for bugfixing. Great effort nonetheless.

Really great graphics, the game looks interesting but I found a bug in the forest where you get caught by light it bugs out. Would've been nice if the controls (shift shadow mode) would be written somewhere in the game.
One thing I'm still not sure of the daylight doesn't do anything to you?

I thik the graphics are really nice.

I think the other people said enough about the bugs and hitbox problems.
Other than that, you released your development build. If you uncheck the checkbox in the build window, unity can optimize some stuff.
Also your game starts in FUllscreen, so people using an ultrawide monitor (like me) can't click all the options in the settings. i had some weird visibility glitches, where the 16:9 edges stopped.

You idea is cool though and the kill animation is awesome.

Love the graphics, like the kill animation, some of the collission seems off, not sure why. Could be a unity issue. Also love the kill animation.

The art is just unbelievable, can't believe this was all made in only 3 days! The concept is also so creative considering the theme. I'd love to see how the game turns out without the time restrictions

First let me ask: how is this over a gigabyte extracted on my hard drive but absolutely none of it is sound effects? @_@;

I couldn't get past the first forest; I kept dying instantly once the sunlight hit. If there are safe spots in the open daylight, I couldn't tell what they were. Pixel graphics are very nice, but I literally can't get past the first ten seconds of your game.

And at risk of repeating myself: why is there no sound at all? A lovely bloodsucking vampire sidescrolling adventure deserves SOUND!

The art an animation is really great! It was difficult to tell what areas where okay to be in and which ones were not. The trigger for the lights was a bit too large and I couldn't quite determine the safe distance. I found myself dying without completely understanding why. Which was frustrating because you get put back and the beginning when you die. I would use my shadow form to pass a lamp then when I was out I would die. Overall I think it's a cool idea and great visuals. Great Job!
