On the first levels, you get used to go and come back, and once you understand safe zones and stars it changes the way you think about your runs, which is cool to keep the game fresh.\n\nI'm not sure having safe zones be so random is a good idea, I would love it to be able to plan a bit better if I was guaranteed to find one around somewhere.\n\nNice job on this \u2728","format":"md","likes":1,"spam":"N"},{"id":865260,"author_name":"Ben Barsdell","author_uid":"ben-barsdell","epoch":1664965846,"text":"This is a fantastic game. It took me a while to work it out because at first I was confused by the inventory\/upgrades\/crafting and what the consequences of death were, but once I understood everything it was really fun. I managed to get to the amethyst sword but had to stop there because I'd already played for ages :). It does become quite grindy and a bit tedious at that point, as simply trying to reach the material you need often leaves you with only 1-2 seconds after getting past all of the stuff in the way.  Really great design though and lots of progression to play through and interesting new depths to reach. The graphics and music are solid, and the controls worked well mostly, though I found the inventory a bit frustrating at times (a quick way to pull out stars and keys would be handy), and not having proper fullscreen made it harder to see and caused a lot of misclicks. Love the idea, music and art style. My feedback: I do not like controling it with mouse (I would probably preferred WASD or arrow keys). I click many times outside of the window or X (in full screen mode) and lost progress. It is not a big deal if it happens once or twice, but after few times it gets a bit frustrating . I also suggest to lower the cost of few items, since game gets a bit grindy after a while.
