namcaP by Jacob123

made by Jacob123 for LD33 (JAM)
Play namcaP where YOU are the dreaded ghosts that kill the poor yellow circle! This is a Pacman clone with reversed roles. Press spacebar to switch between ghosts and arrow keys to move! Fight your friends for the fastest time. Unfortunately the game is not as polished as I would like. I only had one day to start and finish it due to me being busy over the weekend. I still did it though! I completed something!

I liked this idea a lot. I think your AI could have used a bit of work to make it more of a challenge, but it was very enjoyable! Good work.

I like your idea, but AI is not good and you can beat the game simply placing two monsters surrounding a powerup pill, so Pacman cannot reach it without dying. (could be corrected if Pacman eats another powerup pill, and them hunts the monsters).

The idea is good, but as others said, the AI could be improved. Good work!

allot of fun though very very easy. Also i know this sounds insane but it reminded me of PacMan

Fun game: nice idea to use the same graphics and audio, gave it a more authentic feel. The AI could've used a bit of work, but it's a nice start, especially for an LD. Well done.

Great idea! If you do a post-comp version, think about pacman following some paths, or using a path-finder to eat pills. Good game!

A little buggy (crashed for me twice), but fun!

Game board was a little big and with several dead ends (good and bad), but otherwise pretty good. Sir Pacs got into certain spots where he just stayed still, but he was pretty good about running away when I got close.
I'm sure the AI was the hardest part of the design (gutsy!), and it works pretty well considering the limited time frame to build and experiment with what works. Congrats on this!

I like the idea. But I think because of the size of the level the controls needed more. Like a way to control multiple ghost at once.

Nice idea. Would be much more interesting if player behaved more intelligently. Wasn't much of a challenge now.
